I had a dream last night that we beat LSU 18-0. Six field goals. Of course I missed the game because I accidentally moved into the wrong house, and spent the evening looking for the owner. So I wouldn't take that 18-0 shit to the bank.

I bet you woke up kinda sad. But then you cheered up... cuz you know we'll beat LSU by way more than that!

yeah, among millennial fans, the same people who think that Floyd Mayweather is the greatest boxer ever, or that LeBron James is better/greater than Jordan, or that Larry Bird wasn't athletic enough to star in today's league, or that LJH > Roy Williams. Vince Young is the greatest college football player ever, and any Texas fan who puts Sam ahead of him is an ignorant, juul smoking moron.

This is a little over the top, in my opinion. Is Vince Young currently the greatest college football player ever? Yes. Is he currently most people's favorite Longhorn football player ever? Yes. But let's not forget that he earned both of those titles during his final 2 seasons at Texas. Sam still has his final 2 seasons in front of him. Is it LIKELY that Sam's final 2 years overcome what VY did in his final 2 years? No. Is it POSSIBLE? Based on the improvements Sam made last year, and assuming he can continue to improve at the same rate; I would argue that it is possible. I think the "favorite Longhorn" title is obviously more achievable than the "greatest ever" title.Think about it: it's possible that Sam could ride out of Austin with 3 straight victories over OU in Dallas, 2 straight Big 12 titles, and 4 straight victories in major bowls. On top of those achievements, he'll also leave us with memories of his badass moments (mocking Drew Lock's backpack, take the loss pussy, we're baaaack!, etc. Plus many more that are sure to happen over the next two years.).

    Also, Lebron > Jordan.

    No

That was a rhetorical question meant to imply that Terry is a drunken moron, but thank you for the quick answer anyway!

Well these guys are technically the Most Known Unknown

A lot of people question the title, they wanna know what it means. The Most Known Unknowns means that Three 6 Mafia is known, but at the same time they unknown. You know what I'm sayin?

We should also redshirt Sam Ehlinger, Cosmi and Collin Johnson. By redshirting our best players we can make a title run in 2020, rather than just compete for the conference. Also, maybe have some of the young guys transfer to smaller schools then come back when they have more experience. It’s not without merit.

The Indiana Men's Swimming & Diving team literally did this a few years ago. One of their best guys had season-ending shoulder surgery early in the year plus they knew they had a good recruiting class coming in the following year, so they redshirted all of their best guys in hopes of loading up for a title run the following year. It... didn't work.

I just laugh at the fact that they think we're going to struggle with their new magical high powered offense.  As if we don't fucking play in the Big 12.  Hey fuck faces.  We've had to face Lincoln Riley and his two #1 picks, Sam Darnold, Drew Locke, Will Grier, and quite a few other good QBs.  Not fucking scared of Joe Burrow and your new RPO offense.  And LMAO at that retard O out scheming us.  They are saying these things after we curb stomped Georgia in the sugar bowl.  I bought my tickets and if there is one thing I've been confident in, is that Herman will have us prepared for the big games.  And those predictions have them blowing us out.  Since when have we gotten blown out in the 3 years Herman has been here?  Those dudes will have an epic meltdown when they realize their new "high powered" offense with big slow OL and a QB that can't throw for shit can't produce against Orlando.  And this is on the road in a stadium that is going to be rowdy in Austin.  It's like aggy's delusion has seeped into those cajun rednecks.

LSU fans... don't ever go full aggy.

I'm not gonna lie, this post got me fucking fired up. Is it September yet?

What I'm hoping for is our defense trashes their new offense, but then their new offense trashes SEC defenses for the rest of the season. I know the SEC-SEC-SEC mouth breathers will never shut up about how the Big 12 just has shitty defenses, but this scenario would at least help a little.

You'd be a fucking idiot to bet $$$ Kyler is playing baseball, because he's never going to play baseball.

He would be dumber than you if he quit football to play minor league baseball until his late 20s and then played a shitty contract until his early 30s. He would make more in one year on a 2nd contract than he would on his entire first Major League contract.

Or maybe you're just fucking with people and you're not as stupid as you seem.

Yea that's a HORRIBLE prediction! No heisman-winning, first-round pick QB has ever gone from the NFL to minor league baseball after just a couple years in the NFL! What an idiot!

doesn't seem too limited based on some of the videos posted

I disagree. They have mostly only shown him participating in drills that only involve the lower body. The one exception I can think of is the video of him doing the tug-of-war drill with the tire, and he was only holding on to his tire with his left arm.

  9. I think it's funny that we are getting shit on for losing 13 seniors ("ha-ha! you're losing so many great players, you're gonna suck next year!"), but we're also getting shit on because we only had 3 players invited to the combine ("ha-ha! none of the players you're losing are any good!"). We're either losing a lot of talent, or we're not. It can't be both. Oh well, as others have stated, I'm glad we've got a steady supply of bulletin board material flowing.

If Sam stops throwing it a mile over his head every time he's open.

Truth, but let's not forget: this will be Sam's first offseason as the established starting QB. I have no doubt his timing with all of our receivers is going to take a huge leap this year now that he won't be splitting reps with Shane the entire offseason.

    So let’s be clear.

Bru is not going to transfer to Texas just because his friends/parents told him to.

And he’s not going to stay at usc because ej or FCB spoiled his announcement.

He going to transfer to Texas because matthew mcconaughey told him to.

    Alright?

    Alright, alright.

Believe it or not, yes. It's a SEC Conference rule for JUCO transfers. It's why Gary Johnson played for Texas and not Nick Saban.

I don't think we had much of a shot of getting Nick Saban to play for Texas anyway.

I love it when I run across someone with the exact same sense of humor as me.
