I wish I had a picture of it, but I was one of the "sad fans" the TV camera zoomed in on that day. I was leaning against the rail in front of my seat (Yea, front row humble brag) with a disgusted look on my face, and all of a sudden my phone started literally blowing up with "DUDE you were just on TV for like 30 seconds" text messages. Then on Monday, I had people in my classes whom I'd never spoken to before saying "Hey I saw you on TV Saturday!". Good times.

I kinda liked West Virginia in that hey, I'm not a fan but they're a cool team to watch occasionally way before they joined the conference.
Now, fuck 'em.
Same. I honestly don't understand their fan base at all. One of my best friends went to WVU, and he absolutely hates Texas with a passion and I can't think of a good reason why. I think when they came into the Big 12, they just thought it was their job to hate us. The funny thing is we've been in the worst years of our program's history since they joined the conference, and they've been in arguably the best years of their program's history, and they've still barely managed to beat us every other year. I have a feeling they're all about to get real quiet for a real long time now that we're back up and they're back down.

I would agree except that Sam doesn't play DB. if the DL and Backers bring their A game I see a 17-20 point win. if not, closer to 7. Brown will be throwing the kitchen sink. the 38-7 smoking by Mizzou has me feeling pretty good though. any win is a good win any time in Morgantown.
True, but my main point was that Sam is the leader of the team, and if the leader of the team has been chomping at the bit for an entire year to get payback on those toothless, horns down, sister-fuckers, then he will likely have the entire team ready to play at a high level.

Sam circled this game as soon as last year's game ended in Austin. I'm not worried.

Maybe it’ll be about the LSU cramps.
They'd be dumb if they didn't spell out "DBU" and then morph straight into "471".

Stupid sips, our defense doesn't suck. Our QB does! /bayouaggy

LSU faces so many spread teams... like who?!. Like that shitty Florida team that barely beat a Miami team that is on par with fucking Kansas. That same Florida team that put up 400 yards on them. These fucks play the bottom barrel sec teams like Ole Miss, Miss st, Arkansas, Tenn, SC, Vandy, Mizzou, and think their defense is untouchable. They're going to have their tails between their legs just like Mizzou and UGA did after we brought the fucking wood to them. Just remember to come back and take your licks after the game.
And give me a break with this 5 star DB bullshit. Sterns, Foster, Jones, Overshown, Green, Cook, Owens were all rated 5 stars between the various services. All but Owens had an LSU offer. We have plenty of talent ourselves and Sam and our SR stud WRs aren't fucking scared. LSU beats one trash team and now their offense is better than Lincoln Riley and the 2 fucking Heisman candidates we faced... LMAO.brb, gotta go run through a wall. Is it Saturday yet?!

Closing the file on this game but had to comment on how awful the Galindo led broadcast with Brooks was. These are our home team announcers and they were full of misses. Just about every close call or review they were either wrong or failed to identify why the review was taking place. I imagine Galindo is still here because every time his pay is cut, he continues to show up to work.
On the bright side, at least he wasn't caught on any hot mics talking about how bad our team is.

Duv did as well.Duv took one handoff out of the backfield against LaTech, so it appears the coaches were already preparing for the possibility of needing him to play some RB.

What a thin-skinned little pussy.
I'll see your Moose Muhammed and raise you a Dorial Beckham-Green and a Shawn Oakman.
The funniest part is Muhammad was arrested a few years later for literally the exact same thing. But yea great example, Nick.

I, for one, would never get tired of that. With all due respect, of course.

I'm calling it now: our streak of no 50+ yard plays ends on our first offensive drive.

I'm sorry, but that's an extremely aggy response. "Yea you beat us, but we won a different game around the time you lost a game where several of your best players didn't even play, so HA!!" As much as I hate those toothless sister-fuckers; they got us in the head-to-head so they have the bragging rights until next year.

Quandre is still my favorite part of this gif. He's about to jump in and help on the tackle, but then he's like "Nah my boy's got this, I'm just gonna flex on em!"

LSU is coached by a mumbling regard, and their offense is one dimensional. I expect Herman and the team to beat the shit out of them. Their defense is good, but UCF almost beat them with a backup QB. Sam will curb stomp their pussies.
Fuck yea. Let's go!

There are a lot of penalties/mistakes I find ridiculous and infuriating, but I think the only one I'd put into the "absolutely 0 tolerance, unacceptable" category is a player (on a team that's losing by less than 9 points) getting tackled with the ball in their hands to end the game. To me, there is nothing more simple than knowing "If I get tackled with this ball in my hand, the game is over and we lose", so any player who can't process that thought doesn't belong on a football field past the age of like 8.

How much of an effect is LSU's offensive change going to have in game #2?
I think it's safe to assume they aren't going to put much on film in their first game against Georgia Southern, so really we're going to be their first game with the new offense. Refer to our season opener against ND in 2015 when we debuted our new up-tempo, high powered offense for an example of how well that typically works out.

I like your optimism but odds are strong that Sam will not play every game this or any season. Just like at RB, in this offense you need a legitimate 3 deep at both positions and we're close to being there.
Truth. Casey only has to wait two more quarters. He'll play the whole second half against La Tech after we head to the locker room up 35-0 at halftime.

If Sam can hit the little TE seam route this year like 5 TDs are for the taking regardless of who plays TE.
He overthrew Beck repeatedly on that route last season.
Beck also dropped one of them that hit him right in the face mask (I can't remember which game it was); so make it 6 TDs for the taking.
-
Please, for the love of God, just let this be a good ole' fashioned 52-10 victory with Sam wearing a headset the entire second half. I can't take a third straight year of going from incredibly excited for the start of football season to clinically depressed all within the span of about 2 hours.

I am right there with you, but unfortunately I don't think we'll see it happen. Herman will put much more importance on taking a fully healthy squad to Dallas next week than he will running up Sam's stats. We will likely run a slow, grinding pace on offense and we'll take Sam and other starters out of the game as soon as we have a comfortable lead.
