  1. Way way waaay fuckin overdue, but happy they finally get him in while he's still around. I'll never forget my first real job I had a Longhorn boss who played with McMichael (won't say who, he may be here for all I know..lost contact a while back) and during lunches and dinners (and many drinks of course) the stories started flowing. My fave is the one he told about a group of players going out to 6th one night, of course they had pre-gamed a bit in the dorms and were feeling good. Anyway they were walking towards Sixth and this car full of frat boys comes screeching around the corner almost hitting Steve...of course windows were rolled down and the fratturds were talking shit...and Steve didn't say a word to them...just calmly walked to the front of the car, clasped his hands together and brought them down like a sledgehammer right in front of the driver..spider webbing the windshield. Then he wordlessly (but grinning and laughing) joined the rest of the players walking to 6th[emoji23] Of course this was before the days of everyone having a camera and social media, you could still settle things on your own terms back then. Hookem Steve[emoji869]
  2. Don't have to live there to write these days. A coworker has a cousin who recently moved back to Texas with her screenwriter husband, and they seem to be doing quite well in spite of my coworkers cousin not really having a job or much income that anyone can tell. They only lived in an apartment for 6 months before buying a decently nice house in the area and are now shopping in the Indianapolis area for another so they'll have their own place when they visit his parents. He's still actively screenwriting remotely (between strikes) and only flies to LA when he needs to a few times a year. Like everyone else that moved they got fed up with the taxes, cost of housing and ever increasing crime. They had an older Honda Accord when they arrived (windows replaced several times) and immediately bought a new BMW EV once they arrived and got settled.
  3. Sounds a lot like the NFL if we're honest. At least CFB has the excuse of most of the players less than 2 years removed from HS.
  4. Another year of the Mahomes, Kelce, Swift circus. I'm out, peace[emoji3577]
  5. Welp, grats Chefs
  6. I have the most expensive Hulu+ because of the wife, but if I were home I'd be watching by antenna.
  7. Bootleg? This game is accessible with a fucking $10 antenna...or coat hanger and tinfoil.
  8. Host Ran out of the good stuff and has locked his liquor cabinet. Now down to Rolling rock. It is smooth drinking, I'll give it that.
  9. OT here we go. Knew I should have let my team know I wouldn't be in tomorrow.
  10. Too much time left to be kicking FG's. If KC wins it will come down to that failure on offense.
  11. Gotdam block, really?
  12. Fuck yes, fuck you Chefs
  13. 9'ers dropping like wasps facing a can of extra strength Raid.

  18. It would fucking shock the sheep watching so much. It would be glorious
  19. Just once I'd like the NFL to do something surprising for halftime. Messhugah doing Demiurge or clockwork would get even the 70 yo corporate execs in the crowd bobbing their head after they get over the shock.
  20. I can't disagree
  21. Go back to listening to your math rock..Messugah and Tool![emoji869][emoji869]
  22. Seriously making a comeback since the Rangers won the world series.
  23. Hell yeah, that and Underground 2 have never been topped.
  24. Confirmation the average SB watcher is 40+ years old. Or the NFL is out of touch..whichever.
  25. This brings me back to some Xbox racing game, can't remember which atm
