  1. Bro, do you even remember the glorious year of our lord nineteen hundred and thirty nine? And maroon carrots, MAROON FUCKING CARROTS! When has China ever contributed something like that to mankind?
  2. Maybe what we need is already on campus and this big Poly kid gives us good depth? I'm gonna go full aggy "trust the corches" here, but I'd be a lot more confident if this kid was on Bo's radar before he left.
  3. To me the analogy that comes to mind is China vs the western world. China (aggy) was downtrodden for a long time and went on an all out mission to rise to what they think their rightful place in the world should be. What do they do? They look at more successful countries (Texas, OU, Bama, LSU etc) and try to copy what they did (capitalism) while still maintaining their oddity of form of government which still operates as though capitalism was never introduced. (aggy turditions) In other words aggy (China) thinks that by becoming wealthy and building a massive military they can become #1...but without a good understanding of what it means to be #1 and that it didn't happen overnight for the west, it was a process over generations. So yeah, thats how I see it. Little bro thinks if they dress and talk like big bro they can not only be equals, but actually surpass big bro.
  4. Correct, that's what I was taught in HS as a safety where PI was rarely called unless you tackle the receiver before the ball arrives, and timing patterns were rare. Corner may be different, never played there.
  5. It's definitely possible this year if not likely.
  6. My reasoning for him getting picked before Sweat was partly due to the way he was playing at the time and possible concerns NFL GM's may have with Sweat keeping his weight at a manageable level. We'll see, but I still think Murph is off the board before Sweat...and maybe the first Longhorn.
  7. So there's a chance he goes before Sweat? Say it ain't so! @SydneyCarton called me an idiot for suggesting that may be the case a couple months ago, and I'm not sure he's allowed to be wrong?[emoji23]
  8. Agree on the technique and no doubt Muhammad is a good corner, but not sure how much play time Worthy would have gotten if that was simply a regular season game. He certainly didn't have his usual shake, bake and go on that play.
  9. This thread is proof surly can't handle even mild success.
  10. Maybe you missed it, but we lost the guy who developed Sweat and Murphy and still havent hired a replacement. But other than that I see what you're saying and hope somebody steps up big time next season.
  11. Yeah, Ketch in the background almost ruins that pic. Thankfully most don't notice at first glance.
  12. Guillory might be able to accelerate faster than any flying car. Kid got some wheels already.
  13. 4.43 laser timed 40? Fuck yes! hookem Raycine [emoji869]
  14. I'd say most of the SEC (fans at least) truly don't understand this, and some probably never will. They seem to think the SCOTUS simply legalized the bag game.
  15. In my experience they exist in every state in the union. The accents may be different, but some things are universal.
  16. Not to mention the sea level rise, but I won't go there.
  17. Depends on if we still want him, but yeah.
  18. Yep, only way we have to face him is a possible playoff matchup, and I'm down with that. (No pun intended)
  19. Compare this to swimsuit issues for a past few years.. No wonder an SI already on life support pulled the plug themselves.
  20. Looks small compared to Sweat, but the strong Poly ties may make up for it.
  21. I'd be more in favor of teaching the high 4 or 5* (depending on who you ask) TE with WR speed how to block on running plays, but maybe that's just me. Helm will still get plenty of snaps, don't worry about that.
  22. If he wants to start immediately then cross Texas off the list.
  23. If there is any fire to the smoke that Deboer pushed Sayin out and Saban didn't step in and try to stop it, you may be right. Having said that I'd think little Nicky is intelligent enough to know that what he's accomplished over the past 17 years is unlikely to be replicated anywhere...even Bama.
  24. Hope DeBoer served the team watery eggs and burnt bacon. I still can't believe the turtle said that out loud much less would actually do it.[emoji85]
  25. It's really starting to look like Saban had the hubris to believe as long as he announced that he would still be around the program (similar to what bag o' dicks Bob did when he passed the keys to little Lincoln) and have an office in the stadium that it wouldn't matter who Bama hired, and losses would be minimal. I don't think it's lack of faith in Deboer so much as it is knowing that it takes a new coaching staff 3-4 years on average to get things going...and nobody wants to be part of a painful rebuild. Times have changed...a lot of these kids have agents and other outside people pointing out these things and giving advice. And yes that can even include the ones coming straight out of HS..especially if they're considered the #1 QB
