  1. So Bond is visiting Joey high school at Tortilla Tech next, got it.
  2. For real. Last time I was down there for a cousins graduation (against my will) was 2011 and it was nowhere near what I consider a metro area. To me it was like a smallish/medium sized Texas city that runs together with a small city that grew up around a college..far from a metro area.
  3. Believe it or not, Indiana can get pretty fuckin hot in August. It's not Texas/Arizona hot but still quite toasty on certain days.
  4. One of two coaches we couldn't afford to lose gotdammit. Surprised someone hasn't come after Choice offering to tack on bullshit "co-OC, running game coordinator, special assistant to the HC" etc titles . The NFL may not value RB's anymore but they're still vital to winning CFB games.
  5. Agreed, but right now Sark is overall better for Texas. I'm not into the whole coach worship thing that seems to be common in the SEC, (including aggy) and totally fine with DKR being our last and only...especially since it was before my time. Coaches have always been mercenary, but moreso now than ever before.
  6. They mainly keep them confined to the palatial football facilities. Probably drive them there in SUV's with total blackout windows and don't let the Corp turds and milkmen anywhere near official visit activities.
  7. He isn't, in the same interview he said he will still have an office at Bama and will be around for anyone to talk to.
  8. Maybe he's fond of Ryan Days face pubes. Can't win em all.
  9. Did you even see our receiver room this year? Sark isn't like our past coaches who rotated players in and out just to get them on the field, he's a continuity guy. Cook was lucky to get what little playtime he did, and that's only because Sark knows he's taking X's spot next season.
  10. I could be wrong, but I don't think the coaching staff is "supposed" to be directly involved in those talks, but they can direct them to people who will discuss it.
  11. Bond would be a huge pickup, but any talk of Caleb Downs maybe testing the waters?[emoji102]
  12. Know I"m late to the party, but Ant Hill and Ant Will has a nice ring to it. [emoji869]
  13. I prefer the shortened "that said", but with that being said...I also tend to overuse it.
  14. That does make us sound like true SEC fans, so I guess a little prophetic? I can see why they didn't follow Nate's story exactly (nobody cares who the long snapper is as long as they have good snaps) and that's just typical Hollywood style sports drama, no biggie.

    Casey Thompson

Pretty sure he's already used that one, but by the end of next season he'll be pushing Ron McKelvey age .
  16. What about it is "kind of a bad look for Longhorns fans?" I also used to be an avid gamer but pretty much gave up on the football stuff when NCAA went away, and everything else in recent years.
  17. But along that same line of thinking, if you do accept the job there and manage to stumblefuck your way into a championship.. the gomers would finally tear down the sully statue, melt it down and reshape it in your image. I know none of us would want that sort of honor...but the first coach to do it will be aggy legend, complete with fairy tales that get better with each decade that passes.
  18. Awesome sales pitch: Welcome to aggy! We'll have a warm roster spot for you unless someone better hops in the motherfucker. Whoop!
  19. Wonder if the Elk is wondering if he can toss some of the bread back in the portal now that several Bama players likely hop in the motherfucker very soon.. I love that aggy was crowing about the number of players they were able to snag out of the portal[emoji122][emoji122]
  20. Good thing the Elk snatched all the FCS players he could find as soon as the portal opened. aggy gon be loaded for '24[emoji23][emoji23]
  21. First pic is the only one needed from now on. Ty in advance
  22. I think the PC term for it is "gummie English" or "Edible English". Some of those things are far stronger than they need to be.
  23. Yeah, Sark got to do that with his kid this season. Not sure he ever saw the field on Gameday, but he was wearing the uniform on the same field as his dad at least.
  24. The tree only works if the coach in question climbs the ladder. Sure he's getting a bit more money at LSU, but it's a lateral move and money we could have matched. The son having one last shot at becoming a pro player was the deciding factor.
  25. Ahh, gotcha. I knew there was something about Iran. Beautiful country and people, government beyond fucked up.
