  1. Agreed, hence why I like our place right now
  2. For your first question, I don't think so. I think he'll commit too late for a Malikmas. Though if he gives a silent early and let's people know it's possible. Hell even positive comments to other CA players could be useful. It'll be hard to actually evaluate the impact he has barring an early commitment though. As for your second one, unfortunately, I don't think Stanford will be much trouble for Oregon. We'll see what Auburn does, but not much hope there either.
  3. He was the only one referred to by name with the appellation 'coach' in front of it. Riley got called Lincoln (after butchering it). USC's comment about coaches was just that they were disorganized. Oregon got a coaching staff is really amazing but no one mentioned by name. I like where we are. I see this being a Oregon/Texas battle that we have a pretty good shot at winning barring the two schools he mentioned entering the picture (Georgia, Clemson) causing some actual trouble. That'll be 9.95
  4. This is some primo stuff right here. You've outdone yourself, my dude.
  5. This was prescient
  6. News so good we 502'd
  7. That's my point. In college, RBs are not interchangeable at all. Only in the NFL are RBs largely interchangeable
  8. While I agree with the general premise, I feel that Gurley may not belong in that same spot. CJA came in and did admirably in his absence. Imo there are like 5 RBs in the league that are truly special when compared to a replacement level player. Kamara, CMC, Zeke, Saquon, and DJ. Bell would be there if he comes back into the league. But like you said the pro game is very different than the college one. The fact that RBs are interchangeable parts there doesn't mean they are here. Reality would show them that is very much not the case.
  9. To think a guy some wanted over Herman may be an analyst for him. L o l
  10. It's not necessarily not Evans. Discuss. #QuestFor1000
  11. Why are you conflating a progressive tax system with loopholes? Deductions and tax credits can exist in a flat tax system and you can have a progressive tax system without them. This is silly. Further credits and deductions have legitimate uses to encourage certain behavior and Pigovian taxes have consistently proven effective at inducing desired behavior. The small issue is that certain credits and deductions shouldn't exist. The big issue is creative accounting to get more income taxed in low tax areas and less taxed where it originated.
  12. Yeah, I'm aware.
  13. Wait you only need a 1480 to be MENSA? Pretty sure my parents would have disowned me if I got less than that. EDIT: Just checked because I found it hard to believe. Turns out it's even lower. 1420 puts you in the top 2% of a nationally representative sample. A 1470 gets you in the top 2% of SAT test takers.
  14. Imo they should put a new facility even better than Rec Sports where Anna Hiss is right now.
  15. The Incredibles is an amazing movie and I get liking edits that place you as Mr. Incredible. But that being said, we're all confused by how well they're received considering they're not as clean as the official Texas edits.
  16. And yet it is retweeted by Logan. I'm never going to understand this shit.
  17. So while I'm assuming the odds aren't great, the DL class of our dreams is Harris, Collins, Broughton, Dorbah? Roughly in that order? And with Princely being a more than acceptable replacement if we miss?
  18. Calling her a butterface is laughable. Her face is one of her more remarkable features.
  19. That's because you're blinder than Helen Keller.
  20. Curses! Foiled by Burt Macklin yet again!
  21. She's saying the gf asking him to winter formal is his best offer. How old are you geezers?
  22. Texas top center. Calculator
  23. If they blow up RecSports they owe us a new gym. I mean I'm graduated and gone now, but I loved that place since it was less full than Greg
  24. Even with that being a flattering choice, the first pic looks like they took a Tony Hawk game from the early 2000s and just copied the aesthetic and made it HD. Granted my issue wasn't so much the quality but the quantity and timing, which to be fair was more a Plonsky blocking it and him giving up an issue than just a him issue. Great coaches don't take no for an answer (except when a no should be taken very seriously) and get what they need to succeed, though. That's the difference. Tom refused to let the AD be the enemy of the football team and did what he needed to get his vision made reality.
  25. Lol EJ is so fucking gullible it's not even funny.
