I was comparing Sambora to Kath and May.
Straight sarcasm.
Well that makes much more sense.

I would say he’s right there with Terry Kath, or Brian May.
Wait, wut?
Well, Hendrix did claim Kath was as good as anyone alive at the time.

So, should we form a quorum to resolve these issues!

Probably the most bang for the buck of any instrument I've ever bought. American Standard P-Bass i bought new back in 2013 off that site that used to only offer 4 screaming deals a day. Hello Music??
Its my only bass.
I played it in a couple cover bands back in San Diego. Countless jams / sit ins. The bass player in Vary Mary played it for every show and most practices because she prefers it to her own P-Bass; she also plays it in a new project we're trying to get off the ground. We use it in Dirty Years - me half the songs and the other guitar player for the other half. Now in The Koffs. All with that same strap too! It came with a big hard case, but I always carry it around in a lightweight gigbag.
I've never once changed the strings. Probably about time.
Never changed the strings? Not even stoned and bored?

yanni's live at the acropolis album is an absolute showcase of incredibly talented virtuosos in their instruments...an incredible album and i'll fight anyone who says otherwise.
No shit? There is two of us!

Do I not understand the thread title? You guys are mentioning some artists that in no way should be mocked?
Now, my Yanni reference up thread, that you can mock the shit out of.
-
Sambora? No shit? I never knew there were people who thought he was even worth a mention?
Bon Jovi was good at one thing…they knew a commercially successful hook when they heard it.

In a somewhat related note, there are two famous instances of fighting for control over corpses.
One is the physical struggle in the Parkland Hospital between the staff and the secret service over who would carry out President' Kennedy's corpse.
The other was the often-physical struggle between NYPD and NYFD over who would carry out the bodies from the 911 wreckage. If it was their man (or woman,) the two sides would have a physical struggle over control of the body that would sometimes turn into the throwing of the fists.

A Tesla may perform better than a '65 Mustang, but the Mustang looks cooler.
Yep, and that coolness reads something like this.
Billy’s Pearly Gates
Framptons Phenix
Duane’s Gold Top
Clapton’s Beano
Jimmy’s 59
Walsh’s 59
Gary Moore, Paul Kossof’s 59’s, the list just goes on and on.
I always liked being a small part of that.

PRS is a damn fine instrument. I’m just not going to buy one before I bought a Les Paul.

Adam Schefter is a dipshit who won the lottery by being in the right place in the right time to take advantage of the new world order of what you report almost doesn't matter at all as long are you break it first on the twitter tweet. Don't waste too much intellectual horsepower giving him the time of day in an "argument"
Add in that all the former pros he works that are forced to pander to him, all think he is an asshole.

It is not far off at all actually. You have just experienced a loss. A loss of self and identity. You are going through a lot of feelings here that are very much along the lines of those stages of grief.
Never underestimate how much of our sense of self lies in the job you do. Think about how often you are asked what you do, or how work is etc
I agree with this. I was forced to retire at 55. I was fine financially, and probably would have retired in a few years anyway. But, it was the loss of title, responsibility, and my opinion that caused much anxiety. It was the most difficult element of retirement that I had to adjust to.
Wife said it took two years before she could see I was finally at peace. I asked her how she determined that. Her response was she could tell when I started laughing a lot, and started following the weather.- 2

I’m not a big Reverb guy, so I will only say I would look elsewhere. That said they are a cool alternative to a LP Jr.
