SEC West Champs, Regional Champs, Super Regional Champs, and 3rd place in the nation. That's certainly something. All more than football and Men's basketball have done in decades.
I didn’t know they won the west?

Is the 82 movie where you see the skin pull away from the spine, correct? If it is, I have no memory from the film except that fucked up scene.

I think they often pay ringers who aren't members of the church, but a lot of those folks are just doing it because they want to.
I have never seen any money, nor have I heard a conversation about it. Not saying it doesn’t happen. It just never happened to me. Maybe I suck so bad, I never got an offer.

This sounds like fucking Arthur Blank. He is such a douchebag. He did everything he could to cover Mike Vick and the made a litany of excuses for his behavior, like every black guy is torturing dogs. So his pursuit of Watson doesn’t surprise me. He’s a total piece of shit. I have a hard time going to a Home Depot because of fucking dipshit Arthur Blank.I don’t necessarily disagree with you. But, hasn’t he given us a shit ton of money?

This reminds me of something I've been wondering for a while now. Some of the larger churches around here have a 6 piece band (drums, keys, bass, acoustic, rhythm, lead) plus a few backup singers with them. I feel a little strange asking them this, but are these people paid, or are they just talented members, a mix of both? How does that work?
Played many, never even thought about money or being paid. Great experiences.
I got involved when I met my first church guitar guy in the late 70’s when I moved from Texas. I wasn’t a church goer, but he was, and he invited me to visit and play with their small stage band. Great experience…

Fucking hell. @ss13 @Beau Vine you guys couldn’t keep Vic and helobious contained in the mlb thread!???
……and the real fucking irony is that a former Augie disciple used small ball to beat ND last night.

Beautiful guitar! I love them all tbh I really want a custom shop but always buy something else with the money.
Leo sold Fender because CBS threw ridiculous money at him.

I bought it used from Austin Vintage Guitars, and it had that checking already and was a point we haggled on price over. I wanted to know if it would get worse, and they couldn't tell me it would not. They said they thought the guitar probably was subjected to a sudden change in temperature and that if I avoided that it probably wouldn't get worse, but they couldn't guarantee anything. The checking did not get any worse for the year that I owned it.
Yeah, this wasn't an aged guitar, though, more like new old spec. So this was something that happened after manufacture.
See, I would have been ok with that because it was not intentional. And it makes for some serious mojo if it spread out…

Scheffler, Finau, Lowry, and JT lurking? Yes, the RBC is a better leaderboard by a lot.
You missed the layup. When I posted that, that was the fucking leaderboard at that very moment. Lurking don’t mean shit, it’s academic so far as the top spots, which was the point of my post.
I was not comparing the fucking fields, Jesus Christ.

That is a sexy leaderboard. Look at all of those big hitters. But I will say this...if someone like Phachara Khongwatmai (whoever the fuck that is) bags $4M in prize money this week for three days of work, that would put him at 14th on the current PGA money leaders list, ahead of some pretty good players that have played in ~15 events. The PGA is going to have to figure out how to juice the payouts, or more guys will leave. Its a tough spot for the PGA, because a couple of billion for the Saudis is nothing, and at the end of the day, money talks. With a recession looming in the USA, its not like the PGA can goose their sponsors for a ton more money. Meanwhile, price of oil is going nuts and money pouring into SA.
What's not clear to me is how the LIV accommodates new players in the pool. It seems to be capped at 48, and with the team structure etc.... its not quite as flexible. So every new guy in means someone gets the boot. If its a lower ranked PGA player that gets the boot, and then he cant play on the PGA, that player is fucked. I guess they can just continue to add groups of 4, or tell every player if you play in one LIV event you're guaranteed "X" amount of money to take the risk.
Leaderboard may not be great, but honestly, is the RBC really any better?

The real parodox is when you visit one for the first time. Your first thought is that there is no way aggy has a hand in this operation.

Off the top of my head, I can't think of a disco tune that doesn't feature a 4-on-the-floor kick drum beat, so I guess that might be a start.
pretty much 4/4 was the norm. Im sure there were others, but everything I just looked up was 4/4.
