Wow, amazing news. Just when I thought things couldn’t get any better.
  3. Au contraire, sir, I learned everything I know from farmer’s daughters.
  4. To be fair, women’s hair does smell pretty damn good.
  5. Wow, Hugo calling other people gullible. Now I’ve seen it all.
  6. I never claimed to know the information, I was asked to interpret Barr’s statement regarding obstruction.
  7. Some do and some don’t. It’s smart to err on the side of caution when it concerns classified information. That the evidence they currently possess does not rise to an obstruction charge.
  8. They can’t let it go because they peddled collusion delusion for the past two years and they’re in too deep.
  9. I can’t stop watching this gif, it’s greatness.
  10. Yes. I’m not sure of the exact number, but he does well enough. From what I understand it makes little difference because my cousin doesn’t live at home. He’s wary of taking him off because it may affect his status at his current home. The county has proven at times to have a capricious nature.
  11. Yes, the growing community allows for more funds. Not just for housing, but dances, bowling, etc. The stuff that taxes typically won’t cover. I believe we can find common ground regarding the meager salaries though. I keep having to stress this, over and over again it seems, that helping out those who truly need it is something I support.
  12. The homes have been upgraded throughout the years because of donations and our growing disabled community. We have an amazing and dedicated group of people here in Montgomery County. My uncle is privy to the allocation of funding, so I would need to ask him for specifics; however, I believe the social workers work for the county.
  13. Again, you’re out of your element here and your reading comprehension is terrible this morning. My cousin prefers to live with his friends and he has a social worker worth a damn (these are very difficult to find and we have plenty of horror stories), it has nothing to do with money.
  14. Well, it seems you’re pushing against an open door here in some sense, as I’ve already stated my support for assisting those that are disabled. But, if we’re talking about the entire welfare system, the yes I’m very concerned about casting that net too wide.
  15. It’s hilarious because he hasn’t the foggiest idea of what he’s talking about. But the folks on the left get off getting on, as they say.
  16. No, not if they’re truly disabled, that’s fine. Honestly, it’s merely peanuts anyway. Deserve has nothing to do with it, it’s what my cousin prefers. We’re simply respecting his wishes. We donate all of the time, but the proceeds are disseminated throughout the many programs that they offer. Direct payments to a particular home or social worker is frowned upon.
  17. No, payments given directly to social workers are frowned upon.
  18. Again, it’s not about money. My cousin adores his roommates at his group home and, quite frankly, thrives in that environment. Our family just has to be careful about how we supplement his income, lest we imperil his current accommodations; however, he wants for nothing.
  19. You’re always so unnecessarily hostile. Money really isn’t the issue here, as I was more concerned about the need for social events. Also, one needs to be very careful about gifts when the recipient is on SSI because the threshold is fairly low. I once inquired about a more reliable vehicle for his group home and was told it may hurt their funding. So that was that.
  20. No hatred, just healthy disagreement.
  21. The government provides my cousin meager support, at best. My sentiment was mostly based on the social setting these events provide. Many of these kids don’t get out much.
  22. Naw, not really. This just hits close to home.
