This post from the Aggie thread may give us some insight in that receiver that was mentioned prior that was thought to be out of the picture

Yeah, on the live stream this morning, Gerry said "head over to Inside Texas later today" to find out who it might be, so we might get confirmation on who it is today.

I hear you on this, but the OG in me (I’m old), can’t get with the new font on the heel/tongue label.
Gimme that “NIKE-Swoosh-AIR” logo all day long.
I truly question the Brand’s decision to let the designer change the logo on the AM1…but I guess it’s been done a million times on the AF1, so…screw me.

Nor am I a fan of the yellow hits on the eyelets/outsole. Reminds me of the “penalties” the League and its Ref’s are planning for the Horns this season (🖕🏻Big12) SO TEXAS WILL JUST NEED TO FIGHT THROUGH IT!🤘🏻

Anyway, I can’t remember if I saw these at SP’s Deep Ellum store a few weeks ago- I’m sure they were there but I was intently searching for a pair of Mac Attacks in my size…so I probably overlooked it…

Agreed completely, but to be fair, most AM1s have that classic logo on the back. This pair just happens to not have that on the back heel tab. and to me, that yellow/tennessee orange is subtle enough to just be ignored. As an AM1 fan, these are one of veryyy few pairs of them that are close in color.

Also, they released I believe early last week, so you may have just been there before they were out.

Choice needs a blank check given to him.  I haven't watched his film, who does he compare to?  Is he more a between-the-tackles guy or does he got some top end speed?  This is probably a one RB class, so either this guy or Harlem Berry would be great.

Also, 5* LB Jonah Williams from Galveston Ball is transferring to IMG.

I think in every class, the goal is to grab 2 RBs. Whether both are top 100 guys or not, I'm not sure. That depends on who Choice decides to prioritize. Some years might be 1, but most would be 2 so that we don't ever have to move guys like Red from one room to another.

Gerry with the 70% pick for Dakorien Moore to Texas

    Dakorien Moore

The Texas Longhorns continue to trend for 2025 On3 Industry Ranking 5-star Dakorien Moore. The 6-foot-0, 175-pound jet playmaker was in Austin for an entire weekend for the Texas Elite Camp June 3 with his mom. His mother is from Austin, has a lot of family still living in Austin and is a big fan of Texas. Moore is also liking what he is seeing from Texas, and knows he’s a priority recruit in 2025 for SteveSarkisian, Chris Jackson and K.J. Lacey. The weekend visit and time spent with Jackson and the Texas staff only strengthened the Longhorns position.

When at Duncanville High for a spring practice, Texas and LSU were mentioned the most with USC also getting some mention. The Longhorns received the most mention from various people close to the program. The Tigers expected to have Moore and teammate and good friend Javion Holidayon campus July 28-29, and will look to close the gap on Texas.

While there is not a timetable for a decision by the No. 10 ranked prospect in the 2025 cycle, I have entered an On3 Recruiting Prediction pick at 70% for the Longhorns to eventually land the DFW area 5-star.

I've stated it here before, but Gerry has called Moore the best WR in the state regardless of class. His film is extremely impressive, and it's all as a Sophomore.
