That's not true. Among 5-stars Dindy and Weigman are still there. In the comments of that tweet he admits he's spreading misinformation.

Bobby (OTF) said in the post commitment video today that he spoke with Trey Moore’s rep this afternoon and he said that ‘Trey has a couple of more questions he needs answers to, but he expects to make a decision before NSD1.’

FWIW - in todays OnTexasFootball Bobby said that Texas told former Notre Dame TE Holden Staes (now a Tenn commit) that they don't currently have a spot available - they are waiting on JaTavion Sanders to announce whether he is staying or going. If Sanders announces for the NFL, then Texas will re-engage with Staes or move on to other portal TE's if necessary.

The tyanthony money became available?
Feels like Texas/Alabama have prioritized the portal for their last edge.

FWIW - Nahlin (IT) posted that he would be very surprised if Texas doesn't win out for Trey Moore (Edge out of UTSA). Its 'not done yet' but Nahlin says that Texas is committed to winning this recruitment.

Another interesting note from Gerry : Moore is deciding between Bama and Texas. fOSU isn’t involved.
Bobby reporting the same. Bobby said he spoke with Moore’s marketing rep who said the decision was between Texas and Bama and he expected it to be made before Christmas.

Nevermind. Baron commits to Ole Miss. I guess they want all the edge.

I think his point is just that if we can get great edges and make that a strength, that would be a better option than trying to replace two elite DTs, which may be a futile effort (and involve reaches at that position / cost some roster spots).
Yes - Texas is in a position, because of their scoring, that they would expect teams to throw the ball significantly more than pass, especially in the second half of games. With all of the edge talent Texas could potentially have next year they could rotate in fresh guys constantly and play a NASCAR type package for the majority of a game (or at least in the second half).

FWIW - Bobby saying that depending on when/if Sanders declares for the NFL that Texas will renew their pursuit of former Notre Dame TE turned Tennessee commit Holden Staes.

We have a healthy room full of edges (?) and we return everyone. We're also bringing in an absolute monster at Buck. Are we expected to lose some Tapp/Finkley types to the portal?
No. ITs position is Texas is losing two monsters in the middle and know they can’t replace like for like. So they’re looking for BPA on DL.

Gotta assume it's becuz both UT & Bama have backed off Solomon Williams. Right now it seems that both are prioritizing portal EDGEs.
Nahlin (IT) posted this morning that Texas would take both Moore (the edge from UTSA) and the Tennessee edge Baron. Sounds like they put Williams on ‘wait-and-see’.

These appear to be a lot more generic with just a jersey number.

I'm curious why 'Aggie United' deleted their previous 'Run It Back' tweets they put out - not quite as finalized as they thought?

I'm mot saying it happens but I think there's a better chance of it happening than people think.
I welcome Sanders' attempt to rewrite the Texas record book for TE's should he return. What an absolute boon it would be to next years team - and Quinn's continued development.

Yeah - given the way Lucci is talking about Stewart's teammates being happy he is leaving - I don't see him coming back or aggy expecting him back
