  1. I mean, you can always just watch the fucking video, since it's five minutes long. But since self-study is apparently not your virtue, there's not a ton of it from the Washington film posted above. Here's a clip where he diagnoses play action and gets to good depth to cover up a TE running up the seam, but I really can't tell if he is covering grass in the clip or if he intentionally covers up the TE. If the latter, then he's a fucking freak show natural at it, but it's hard to tell from the film.
  2. Holy shit I was joking...
  3. Cool reference! Can't wait to see him give the Hadouken to all those defenses next year!
  4. Clearly a promo for the reboot of American Gladiators.
  5. i know he had never done the drill before, but it was one of the weirdest football videos ive ever seen I don't know what you guys are talking about. This video screams freak athlete, to me Emphasis on freak.
  6. You can literally see in the photo that the gray weights are 25s, so that's (at most) 325.
  7. But at least maybe we will get that BELL COWTM OL recruit we've been waiting for all year?
  8. Have you watched it? It is some triggering shit.
  9. That's a common symptom of PTSD:
  10. I found his junior HUDL to be jarringly reminiscent of Jake Raulerson's OL film.
  11. It's-a me, Emarion!
  12. ....Geoff Swaim?
  13. That's some pretty good shit right there. Given how quickly he has to disengage from the DE, he should get absolutely shitblasted by that LB. But he keeps his ass low enough through his rip that he beats the blitzer on leverage and fucking stones him at the LOS.
  14. My understanding is that USC's LBs coach is one of the top evaluators in the game and anyone that he decides to recruit* is worth going after. *he has decided to never recruit anyone, ever.
  15. Good point. Who in their right mind wants a linebacker who can do this?
  16. Harsin cut his teeth under Chris Petersen. He was TE coach when Petersen was OC at Boise. Then, when Petersen took over as head coach at Boise, Harsin was his OC. The two run the same offense.
  17. Yes, that was a tough one. Gotta think that was a designated blitz, though, as he make a beeline for the QB (not the RB), despite the long developing handoff. He also clearly ignores the pulling lineman key.
  18. Worth noting that I was able to get these three examples from just the first 8 snaps on the clip.
  19. I think it's really hard to get an idea of Fields' potential ceiling based on this film. First, he's going against Washington's offense, which (as we all know from Harsin's time here) is intended to attack linebackers' keys and force defenders into isolation. Despite that, Fields is in on almost every single play on defense. Second, Fields gets almost no help from the AU line. He fights through at least one OL on every single snap. On most snaps, he has to deal with two offensive players blocking him. Even with that, he is in the vicinity of the ball on every play. I'm not sure what more you could want from a LB transfer candidate.
  20. Great point. Why would we want a linebacker who can diagnose Power, make the guard (with a downblock angle) miss and stop the RB in the hole for a very short gain? This one might be even worse. Who wants an LB who can shed two offensive linemen on the same play to assist on a tackle and get the other team off the field on 4th and short? Frankly, this one just makes me sick. Who wants a linebacker who can take stone an offensive guard and keep half of his body free to bring down a running back in the hole for a short gain?
  21. Not sure I understand the thot behind these CBs.
  22. I mean the other option is an irrelevant body on the sideline, so I was offering "peak" John Harris.

  24. Pretty sure there was a recent CFB rule change that allowed players to start wearing 0. So we haven't (and neither has any other school), because it's never been allowed before.
  25. Agree. Big fan of having both Kelvontay and Harrison in the WR room, especially given what our slot recruiting looks like so far this year. Gotta think at least one of those guys can redshirt given the talent in front of them.
