I don't but know several who legitimately do.

Belief in the devil, and "Santa Muerte" (who isn't really a demon) is huge among hispanic drug cartels. They pray to Santa Muerte for protection while they carry out evil deeds. Many say they want the devil or a demon to possess them to give them extra strength to do fucked up shit. The gang that kidnapped Mark Kilroy believed his sacrifice would please the devil and help their drug business. That poor 15 year old girl in Houston got brutally murdered because she disrespected the satanic shrine of two MS-13 members. And while not really drug related, in the 90's a teenager in Laredo broke into a house and killed 3 people because he felt that the Devil would award him immortality for doing it. Of course you can't leave out Richard Ramirez either, in a league of his own.

Put differently: In Austin (Hispanic community), the Longhorns (Catholicism) are extremely popular, but you'll always have that super small number of people (criminals/mentally ill/satanists) who really crazily love the aggies (devil) just to go against the grain and stand out in an extreme way. And maybe a town not so in love with a team doesn't quite have that same dynamic, if that makes sense.

Jeremiah could have told her about going through the graveyard. I don't have to believe what someone else does but it sure helps to know that they do.

I don't know much about Santa Muerte, but what I have heard is enough to make me want to steer clear. I have enough debts.

John can go fuck himself if he acts in any way surprised by this. What did he expect? You made your bed, John. Snuggle up.

I have no pity for him. He signed on to the shitshow. ETTD.

i would like to see the two party system go back to being a contest of ideals and policy positions rather than liberal vs conservative constructs.

When one party has the ideals of pimps it's hard to imagine they are going to change any time soon.

So what do we do with the traitors then, once that is done?  There are currently tens of millions of them in the US.  They don’t just suddenly become great people and solid citizens once the Republican Party is destroyed.  They’re still traitors.

They're dying as fast as they can. Rubes, morons, and I am related to some of them. They'll help you pull the ox out of the ditch and then rail about Muslims or The Gayz, or the Demoncrats or all three!

The word "tryst" suggests a relationship of a sexual nature. Holier-than-thou evangelicals getting outed for their hypocrisy is always good entertainment. No such allegation is made in the linked Buzzfeed article. It just refers to a "friendly relationship" between the Falwells and the pool boy. It does put friendly relationship in quotes so it sort of comes across as a nod and a wink. I need more than that.

It also mentions nothing of Cohen blackmailing Falwell Jr. That Twitter account is private so I can't view any other tweets. That seems a little strange. I didn't read the documents related to the lawsuit from the two Jesuses. Maybe the accusation of a three-way is in there? I can't imagine how that would be relevant from a legal standpoint on a joint business venture gone bad.

The more I'd like to believe a thinly sourced accusation, the more reason to be skeptical. I'm not buying it. Yet. But I am in the market.

Agreed. The story was less than satisfying for my prurient interests. I do have to ask why they felt it necessary to include the pool boy in the deal. The case seems kinda iffy. So.. they stole the idea? And you want to get paid? Ok. Why?

The pool boy though. Why him?

    More questions than answers.

I do because it's funny that he did something to have to delete his account and he was an asshole so it's enjoyable. And then this guy shows up who posts exactly like him. But then again, I'm just a contrarian.

You seem overly agitated, Lando. Did you get bad service at a restaurant last night?

In non-Rex, non-Corby news, Carlos Leal, former Raceweek host died this past week.

Damn. That's a hard start to drydock.

  6. Google >stone supply Houston >results chose Jewell>products >Natural stone>boulder =Big Ass Rock. Delivery is available.

Caveat. It's not a sure thing that it will prevent trucks from cutting the corner. Re-routing the sprinklers and paving the area is a safer bet. It is amusing to see one get hung up though. The drag into the adjacent turf and fucked up irrigation isn't as funny.

Serious question, and sorry if already discussed: what so-called university would embrace a lying, immoral grifter who hates science, cannot spell, and was demonstrably treasonous to the country?

Liberty University?   Are the self proclaimed followers of Christ’s teaching going to be the group who champions (hosts the “library”) of the man who acted antithetically to those teachings for every moment of his life?

    Bob Jones University wants in.

I dispute that "Still a Fool" is the oldest song on my list. "Heavy Traffic Ahead" by Bill Monroe is 46'. Try again wrapped. That algorithm has some bugs.
