For PSVue what kind of success do you have watching when away from home.  I often get a message on the app and/or website that "this channel is blocked for remote viewing"  Happens sometimes in the US and quite often if outside the US.  Is there a safe proxy I can use outside the country?

I forgot they recently loosened the restrictions on streaming outside of your home network.  Just pulled it up on my phone and it worked perfectly over LTE.  What channels do you remember that were blocked before?  I'd be happy to check them out over a mobile connection to see how they stream.

  2. After a year or so of putting it off, I had some rotted siding abutting our roof replaced with hardiboard.  Best suggestion I could offer, depending on how big the job is is find a reliable one-dude carpetry type operation and get him to source the material.  The markup was almost nothing in our case and the labor was super reasonable.  Lining up a few projects for this guy in the future.

I'm not a huge fan of the nighthawk, it is overpriced for what it is and how it works. I've had really good success using the google wifi units that mesh and their phone UI is top of the line. It will help you ID exactly where any issue is if it is the router. I've used the google onhub as well as the newer google wifi models with excellent results. I also have used a TPLink Archer unit that does everything the nighthawk does at a fraction of the cost with better range.

I switched to a Google Wifi mesh with three units and the signal has been rock solid.  Phone interface is excellent.  I'm not a huge fan of the built in wifi on the smart TVs I've owned (Samsung among them).  I've got a mix of Fire TV boxes (second gen) and a PS4.  All do a great job.  All run Plex.

I have a 1954 Omega Constellation "Pie Pan" very similar to that one.  It looks just like this one:

Nice! that's in great shape!  I'm kind of guessing on the age of mine.  My dad was born in 1910.  So it's entirely possible that mine is a 50s model, too.  He was hard on bands.  So a lot of his watches had replacement Spiedel stretchy bands on them.

  5. Not in a huge metro area, but have had Vue for a little over a year and have been happy with it.  Stream is usually rock solid.  We recently got our local CBS affiliate on board, but the stream is pretty inconsistent, even when everything else is solid.  Have a good OTA antenna and Tablo, which covers the locals until Vue gets them sorted out, but was surprised that the stream would vary from channel to channel.
