It's not a competition? My post length has always been like this. For the last 30 years, since the GoBig12 days. It is the way it is. FWIW I like reading longer posts as well. I've never understood the obsession with making shorter posts, but I acknowledge people see the value. I type fast and I read fast. That post took, what, a couple of minutes to type? People act as if it takes half a day to compose a few paragraphs. It's not that big of a deal. Plus most of my posts are from my phone, although these two aren't. What are you looking for, exactly? Because other than skipping my posts, I don't have much of a solution for you.

Perfect example. Instead of this wall of text including the details of what medium was used, you could have just written “go fuck yourself”.

and it only took a sitting national championship coach slash qb whisperer the spring semester, offseason practices, fall practices, multiple injuries to both QBs he thought were better and 7 games worth of snaps to come to the fact that Connor Weigman was the better QB.

meanwhile, anyone who has seen a football thrown can see the ceiling difference between the three guys.

as a reminder here are the total passing yards for every game A&M has played this year. spot the difference:

    • SHSU - 387
    • App State - 97
    • Miami - 140
    • Arkansas - 151
    • Miss St - 252
    • Alabama - 253
    • South Carolina - 269
    • Ole Miss - 338

I see consistent improvement from game to game. Against LSU I predict 815 passing yards.

Of course we're saying that.  It'd be weird if we were saying the opposite, or nothing at all.  "What this?  This incredibly clear satellite imagery that everybody knows we have?  We are certainly not sharing it with Ukraine.  Because (pulls down hidden microphone from ceiling)...it would be wong.

Because Texas notoriously doesn't drop bags from my understanding. Now there is legal ways to entice recruits, why not exploit that avenue.

For fuck sakes with the semantics. Why did we not match with legal ways to entice recruits.

barbacoa has indicated a inside knowledge of this recruitment and said he was ours if we matched. Why not is the question

I understand why Nahlin is having trouble letting Harris go. The kid keeps hesitating to close the door on us. I just think some of these kids and their families are saying take the money and figure the rest out later. The Quinn Ewers model. They were more than open to us, but it seemed clear to me we would need to be competitive. That didnt happen. Maybe the excitement has introduced a new NIL offer for him, thats the only thing I can think of, but I think I wouldve heard about it.

I’ll ask again. Why did we not match?

I checked with a source tonight and can confirm that Texas has been in touch with Ewers and his camp now that Ewers is officially in the portal. No details were given on the communicating, but the staff has definitely been in touch already.

I'm also told that Ewers plans to make a quick decision so he can potentially have a recruiting impact prior to the early signing window, which begins on December 15. If that's the case, I'd think we'll have an answer by this time next week, and it would seem possible (maybe even likely) that Ewers will make a decision without even taking any campus visits.

One person yesterday estimated that Texas was out front, followed by Texas Tech and Texas A&M running third. Texags' Ryan Brauninger reported earlier today that A&M won't be involved in the race, and there has been a lot of Texas Tech buzz this afternoon/evening. One source told OB that there's a lot of confidence on the side of the Red Raiders. I'm not calling this one a done deal just yet because Texas is obviously working to get Ewers to Austin, but most of the chatter this evening is focused on Tech.

We'll obviously keep you all posted as we hear more. Texas has a lot to offer here, but it sounds like there's still work to be done and time is going to be limited.
