this is a pretty dumb statement. 350 under the table all day, Huh? What if it’s 150 a year for 5 years, but you pay taxes versus 350? Or do 350k under the table versus 500 over. Which are you still picking smart guy?
I can understand why a recruit and their family would take cash in hand now over a promise of 150k/year that’s subject to the whims of the NCAA. I’m sure Jimbo is harping on the uncertain future of the NIL landscape until they can get their operation up and running.

That guy’s timeline is a complete mess, but he did retweet Rod about the Steelers coach

Harris sucks.
I would agree, but he’s gone from volunteer assistant, to asst player personnel guy, to director of recruiting, to Temple RB coach in 5-6 years. Obviously his bosses have been happy with something

For all the talk of Carrington being overrated, has even 1 single signee mentioned Harris as a positive factor in their recruitment?

We’re not really the Yankees then (foolishly spending our FU money) if we lost out to aggy on multiple 5 stars including some at positions of need. Or did we blow most our load on Ewers?
Fundraising is easier when you don’t let Kansas hang 60 on you

Booting Woodard to clear a scholarship for Woodard 2.0 never made sense to me

Bobby Taylor is such a bitch.
I mean Finkley was the antagonist here. He’s well within his rights to shoot back at him.

He got booted from Penn State’s class after he robbed a Wawa. I assume they want him back now

I am not a a fan of processing Lewis only to give that scholarship to Red. Lewis committed early and stuck with you. That’s a bad look. Harbaugh got grilled for it a few years ago and if this goes National Texas will deserve some criticism. Scholarship numbers are tricky because we are bringing in a kicker and Cade Brewer on fcb podcast said yesterday that Cameron Dicker is likely to return. Not sure the staff expected that.
Harbaugh survived a few fluff articles and his roster construction has him in the playoff. It’s heart breaking for Lewis, but Sark has to maximize every single one of his 85 spots if he wants to win

They were able to keep Dorial Beckham Green at home as well, who I believe was one of the highest rated WR’s ever.
Forgot about him. The guy Blind Eye Bob took on after he pushed a girl down the stairs

With Evan sticking at A&M, we could circle back to Phaizon
Sucks that Stewart is off the table, but we could back channel to pull Quay Davis out of the portal

USC. Riley wisely went to Mater Dei and tried to repair that relationship. Looks like they're getting Domani Jackson too.
Great news if he can keep talent in state. Cutting off the OU pipeline is much more important than the 1 elite commit we get from every 3rd class that will inevitably transfer

Yeah. Nobody is taking Campbell’s commitment for granted.
The top guard in the country has been in the calculator for over a week now. Nearly everyone has taken for granted that he’s ours.

Terrance Cooks to TCU
Who the fook is that guy

Wonder if the door shut on Billy Bowman. He committed to OU only for Riley to force him onto defense and then bolt for SC within a year

It is pretty funny that after the meltdown Williams/Banks committing to Oregon caused, they are both going to end up in our class.
Ohio State is the only school north of OKC that can hold onto Texas commits. Any other school and you just sit on your hands and laugh until the inevitable happens when December rolls around. Stanford too, but you don’t normally see early commits due to the admissions timeline

Jimbo better have good answer on who DC is going to be....
Narrator: He doesn't
I fail to see the strength of the “they don’t even have a DC” argument when everyone knows we’re going to have a different DC after next season

Feels like it has to be Mims. There was the report a week ago that he was ready to portal and that, at the time, he was holding it against Sark that Herman didn’t recruit him
