Just saw this stat on Fox Big Noon. Would not have thought Casey was leading the Big 12

Surprising because he didn’t get non conference stat pad opportunities, but it’s a historically bad QB/offense season in the Big 12 and OU changed QBs mid year

  2. Joplin will be a good player eventually for Marquette, but the other 2 commits he took with him are low major players, at best. Shaka’s last class was fixing to set us up for years of NIT-ceiling once Bates went 1 and done. The mismanagement of that class alone was a fireable offense.

Fucking Christ dude. Do you watch this fucking team? The pitch pass to Worthy worked then we didn’t run it again. Where is the other Robinson? Why isn’t he running 4-5 jet sweeps a game? Why aren’t we calling screens for our backs? Why aren’t we rolling out more often? Just so much stupid fucking shit

The use of tempo allowed the OL to get push in the run game on the TD drive for the first time in weeks. Never to be seen again.

I have no data to back this up, but I always get my hopes up with elite prospects when they're flipping college commitments like it matters to them. Obviously wasn't the case with both Jared Jones and Jared Kelley recently.

Anyone know who the second commit was? McComas treated it like as big of a deal as the Sykora commit

Stehly must be coming on strong to be pushing Messinger for the starting spot.  Interesting development.  Can Stehly play 1b or 2b to spell those guys every now and again if he ends up the 5th infielder?

Glad to hear Duplantier is gonna focus on pitching.  We need him more there.  As interesting to watch as two-way players are, they rarely excel at one or both.  Would like to see him dominate on the mound, at least for this season.

Any leaks on social media about any possible Fall World Series games next month?

Stehly had plenty of starts at both 3rd and 2nd and played short when Trey got booted from the KSU game, if I recall. Campbell can play all over the infield too.

No clue but Lebarron Johnson is throwing gas in his summer league. Saw that he's hitting 96 to 97.

He has a 0.93 ERA in 9.2 innings pitched out of the pen.

    We're loaded.

Can someone explain how Sean Allen is such a magician? He hadn’t been a pitching coach since 2011 at UCF, he changes roles in 2020 and basically our entire staff top to bottom shows huge improvement.

Is there any data to support your post or is it just an opinion? I’m not asking that critically or with an agenda, I’d just like to better understand how folks are thinking about things. In the last few top 500s I’ve seen, the only guys that have been listed are Madden (obviously early), Hansen (mid-late part of the list), and Kennedy (back part of one list). Stevens is never listed or mentioned even flippantly in the stuff that flies by my newsfeed.

Now, going in the middle rounds of a 40 round draft could still be enough to spur plenty of guys, I recognize. Hence me wanting to read how others are thinking (or knowing, if they’re around players or the program). Or if there are lists being published with these guys on it also.

Believe Pete will be 1 month too young to be draft eligible this year so no worries there

Even in these times, you’ll find significant numbers of men, young and old, at their football games wearing blue blazers with tan slacks and orange/blue ties.  And … you’ll find most UVA fans, regardless of apparel, are packing flasks and rowdy as any college crowd.

Thought about applying there as a safety school until I saw on their site “guys in ties and girls in pearls” referencing their football game days.

The UVA fans are probably the most casually dressed I’ve seen in Omaha though so it doesn’t apply to the baseball crowd

  9. We had the number 1 class in the country last year.

It was the perfect year to reach for some extra draft risks given the 5 round draft, we just got screwed by teams like Cleveland going over-slot for our guys. My scout buddy was pretty confident we were going to get Petey Halpin and Jared Jones to campus, Pierce and Co just got unlucky and we lost most of the top end. Witt, Nixon, Daly, Sthele, Gordon still made it a great class

That guy is a jackass, but you guys can’t help but keep giving him attention by pasting his worthless takes here. Can’t we just all agree to remove the oxygen from this asshats shitty little fire at this point?

Tried for a while, but it’s impossible not to laugh at someone whose brain has been so irreparably damaged by a college basketball coach. He gets 0 engagement on Twitter, it’s not like we’re growing his platform or anything
