Not sad at all, not for me anyways. I love living here! Is it Austin, absolutely not. I’ve been to Austin a couple times and it is a great city. The food is amazing, people were great. I was born in OKC lived in Dallas, a small town in Montana and moved to Miami Florida when I was 21 to sow my royal oats. It was great time but there is no place I would rather live than here. Cheap cost of living and legal weed.
wife and kids had shit to do tonight so cooked this little guy up. Put on pellet grill at 225° until it got to 115° and then put in gas grill until it got to 130°. Turned out amazing, now I’m miserable and full.
Did any of the Wendy’s in Texas ever have a buffet? Back in the late 80’s, early 90’s we had a couple around Oklahoma city that had a buffet. It had tacos and other random items.
Oklahoma City (I know it sucks, but it’s home)
Denver
Eureka Springs
Hamilton Montana (the most beautiful place I’ve ever seen with my eyes)
Venice beach (I’m an old skater from the 80’s so it was the Mecca)
Question for you gentlemen. How good is Rudy’s? I live in Oklahoma City and we have one here and for me it’s just meh. But I have heard the ones in Texas are totally different and the bbq is way better.
You would be correct, I let it run till 6:30 this morning and it was at 203°. Pulled it off and put it in a cooler. Have a football tournament at noon and will slice her up afterwards.
Started a brisket at 4:00pm @ 195°. Checked it at around 11:30pm and it was at 170°. I planned on running it till 8:00 in the morning at 250° but I feel like it too far along. Should I finish at 225°? I have an alarm set for 3:00am to check.
