  1. Sensible except for number two. Likely it's us over Bama. Not highly probable but close.
  2. DJ Lagway's grandmother "Eddie" worked for my father for years. She practically raised me for a while. 6'2" super-smart badass lady, a legend in Willis, who died way too young. I can't imagine DJ's anything but a great kid. Wish he'd given us a look.
  3. I don't bet on anything, but if it's either Murph or Sweat that goes before any others. I think Worthy, Mitchell, Ewers and Sanders (whoever declares) go before Murphy, but he'll still go 3rd or 4th round.
  4. Dude you've been telling people they are crazy, insane, delusional and 100 percent wrong for thinking a one loss Bama or Georgia won't get in over us. Own it or stfu.
  5. lmao
  6. It's the same fucking thing in this context dude.
  7. Nobody's arguing they can't do what they want. But they do have stated criteria that they "must" use, which means they will use it. Saying they won't is conspiracy level silliness. If it's still a close call then of course eyeballs and biases come into play. I think our TV power will hold a lot of weight.
  8. Stop moving the goalposts. You said they "can" consider it but they don't have to consider it. Turns out they do have to consider it. You were wrong and you're being a cunt.
  9. When circumstances at the margins indicate that teams are comparable, then the following criteria must be considered: Championships won Strength of schedule Head‐to‐head competition (if it occurred) Comparative outcomes of common opponents (without incenting margin of victory) . METRICS There will not be one single metric to assist the selection committee. Rather, the committee will consider a wide variety of data and information. Not sure you understand what "must" means, Pancho.
  10. I'm thinking its a genuine lack of misunderstanding, which would mean I understand. Actually I don't. Everyone keeps talking about head to head and strength of schedule and I honestly thought there was / must be something written down that says these things are considered. You're saying there's no stated criteria?
  11. Listen dumass, idiot, moran, if we win these next two convincingly, especially if one of them is OU, we should get in over the fucking ducks because they're fucking ducks and stupid, and if we don't, I'm going full Aaron Rodgers.
  12. Of course style point matter, but they don't replace (or shouldn't) stated criteria
  13. Because they've looked better for the most part and have a Heisman candidate QB. Now that Quinn is back and we took care of ISU on the road that could start to shift in our favor. A couple more strong showings and our SOS will be hard to compete with. Also, we have the eyeballs.
  14. I can't imagine Neyor leaving. It makes zero sense.
  15. I think Whitt will play on Sundays. Reliable slot guy, tackle breaker, character champ.
  16. The way he plants and pivots to get that sack at 700 pounds must have scouts climaxing.
  17. Sweat's a great reminder to be patient with these big boys. He fumbled around, not looking like it would come together, until it did. Now he's in Casey Hampton-land. Love it.
  18. When I was 10 I went to a game in the Dome and got there early and went down behind the end zone where they were warming up. Earl was catching passes and missed one (no surprise, ha) and it bounced up to me in the stands. I totally froze, holding the ball, looking at Earl, and he pretended not to know where the ball went and turned back to get another one. I wore that thing out playing street and golf-course ball my whole childhood.
  19. Goddamn are we due for a complete game.
  20. I think somebody needs an attitude adjustment.
  21. Fair enough. I think the world works differently. I hope we find out.
  22. I gotcha. I appreciate the answer. It may be true. Seems to be an emotional argument over their very own criteria though.
  23. So you're on the committee and tasked with defending one loss Alabama and the other guy one loss Texas. He says we beat you on the road and have strong SOS, and you say "SEC?" Or you're defending one loss Georgia who didn't win their conference, against Texas who beat your conference champion and have strong SOS, and you say "SEC?" That's it?
