  1. His initials sound like a 70's Rock radio station. Class of 43?
  2. I don't know anything about Sacramento but they seem to be huge spenders the last couple of years. Going for big time hires and buying recruits. I'd guess they're using NIL to become a name in the sports world.
  3. I can see that. Not how I meant it though. I piggybacked on Tbone's post about "Kevin Hart" and slapping. But then I quickly remembered it was Chris Rock who got slapped, and Kevin was just the mediator between Chris & Will Smith.
  4. edit lol wrong black guy
  5. I hope to see/hear a shit ton of Reggie & Cheryl Miller for the Pacers vs Knicks series. Reggie was Knicks kryptonite back in the day in so many games. Clutch comebacks in the final seconds of games alla time. I've never been a Pacers fan but I loved watching Miller rain 3's down on the Knicks.
  6. When the Knicks hired Leon Rose to be their President, I thought for sure they would crash and burn. When the Knicks refused to full-tank, I thought for sure they would go nowhere. When the Knicks hired Tom Thibodeau as head coach, I thought for sure players would demand a trade. Their highest pick was at #3 and RJ Barrett didn't become a star and doesn't even play for them anymore. But guess what, lol James fucking Dolan still got back to the championship game before Jerry. hahhaahah

    Tre Johnson

This is a cool picture of Tre https://hoopshype.com/lists/2025-nba-draft-combine-winners-and-losers/
  8. Trivia for the day. -------------- The most recent instance of both an NBA and a WNBA team from the same city holding the No. 1 overall picks in their respective drafts occurred in 2025. In that year, the Dallas Mavericks secured the top pick in the NBA Draft and are expected to select Duke standout Cooper Flagg. Simultaneously, the Dallas Wings won the WNBA Draft Lottery and selected UConn star Paige Bueckers with the first overall pick. Prior to this, the only other occurrence was in 2003 when the Cleveland Cavaliers and the Cleveland Rockers both held the No. 1 picks. The Cavaliers famously selected LeBron James, while the Rockers chose LaToya Thomas. Unfortunately, the Rockers folded after that season. Thus, Dallas in 2025 became only the second city in history to achieve this rare dual No. 1 draft pick milestone.
  9. Wrasslin for foul #4
  10. Minny vs. NYC would be a solid fallback choice.
  11. OKC can handle a seven game series and move on without an issue, being the youngest team in the league. Colorado... I'm amazed that Joker moves as well as he does for as long as he does. There's gotta be a limit somewhere for him and the other olds on his team. I want to see OKC vs Indiana in the finals.
  12. I was wondering if those were cauliflower.
  13. Refs are letting these guys play again
  14. Tuning in now to watch Aaron Gordon hit another game clinching three. Wouldn't mind seeing OKC win though, to keep the "new champion" theme going this year. Cannot believe it's either New York or freakin Indiana coming out of the eat to the NBA finals! Coulda been my Magic if we didn't have so many injuries this year!
  15. I hope they cheered Tatum when he was wheeled off the court? They went to commercial, so I dont know.
  16. Hope not. I'm rooting against Boston but wouldn't wish the Achilles on anyone. Didn't look like a sprain though.
  17. You know what they say about New York cockroaches don't you
  18. Flagg seems like more of a SF to me.
  19. All I know is that Basketball is NOT going to suck anywhere in Texas for the next decade and a half. Oh, and boobs.
  20. NICO: "How ya like me now, I got you a new, physically fit white boy"
  21. Agreed. Blow it up now and re-tool with younger players to match your shiny new #1. They'll be lucky to get the play-in next year anyways.
