That’s right. I forgot the majority of MAGA are dumb, uneducated, and even worse, ignorant. No wonder they’re calling behind.

If they had just put the money in an index fund instead of buying Trump NTFs, they would have gotten a 20% return instead of continue being broke.

  2. I don't understand the talk about economic uncertainty.

Yes there was inflation, but it's down to 3.4%. Unemployment is at a record low. Minimum wages have gone up. Stock market for those fortunate to have 401(k) or brokerage accounts has been going gangbusters.

Can someone explain it to me like I'm a 5 year old?

  3. Salt & vinegar is even better on fries.

It's nostalgia thing. When I was in primary school (in South Africa), we would walk to the nearest swimming pool for PE.  On the way back, we would stop at my friend's dad's chicken shop and get some fries, then to his mom's bakery to get a loaf of bread. Those were happy days.

Tonight she asked if she could drink “one of [my] cokes”

It must be subconscious and reflexive to have to ask that.

I reminded her that for the 50th time, she doesnt have to ask. Theres 12 more in the pantry, and we have 3 grocery stores across the street.  There is no such thing as “my coke”.

You missed the 50 opportunities to say "Yes. But it's gonna cost you a beej."

Congrats on the new ride! Highly recommend that you get the bike fitted by a professional bike fitter. Unlike on a mtb, you’ll be in pretty much the same position the duration of your ride. Got an old bike fitted at the start of the pandemic and made a huge difference in comfort and handling.

    Thanks, will do that.

The Trek store recommended I get a 54cm bike, so that's what I got. But now that I've ridden it a bit, it seems a tad large. Hopefully a fitting will help me find a comfortable riding position.

Would maybe, if she was fresh out the shower and had a winning personality.

Or if you were Vic Mackey.

She just went hail mary and accused the orange buffoon of being mentally unfit.  If nothing else, at least one the Republican intramural team is outright saying it.

Good timing. Now is definitely the right time to start doing that.

Yep, its like suddenly trying to run a hurry up offense down 49 with 32 seconds left to play.  Got em right where you want em.

    Better late than never.

If I was running her campaign, I would go scorched earth. Every ad would be about his legal troubles, rape accusations, infidelity, videos of his verbal gaffs, weird pictures of him standing weird, and accuse him of having syphilis.

I’d probably get blowed up by a magat. But it would be fun for a week.

  8. Also…

Finances, children and family are the root of a lot of arguments.

So figure out how much credit card debt she has and how does she spend her money

Does she want children, how many and how do you want to raise them.

Does she prioritize her family over you? When there’s a disagreement between you and her family, who’s side is she on?

Other considerations… Does her level of tidiness or messiness jive with yours? Are you sexually compatible?
