SMCI back up 32% today on NVDA's beat, back within a shout of the all time high set...last Thursday.  YOLO!!

Was debating between buying SMCI and NVDA. Glad I bought NVDA because my heart couldn't handle this crazy volatility.

Space Legos are best Legos. All other Legos can suck my dick

    IMG_2735.webp

Space LEGOs were the best. Mostly gray blocks (note 1) that you could build whatever you wanted because there were regular size with few "custom" shapes (note 2).

1 - I'm kinda OCD (?) and didn't want to mix too many colors, so 70% - 80% gray blocks were awesome.

2 - The new LEGOs are terrible. So many small pieces that are semi-custom to the thing you're building. You can't really build anything big using all these tiny pieces.

So in conclusion, LEGO bring back those Space LEGO kits from the 80s.

Yep.  Remind the Clarence is 75, Roberts is 69, Alito is 73 and Sotomayor is 69 with diabetes.

Odds are one of those seats is coming up between 2025 and 2029

Would be better if Clarence and Alito both die and their seats come up this year.

First. This is why my mother carried a wooden spoon.

Concerning the other, hold boy up. Jeez man, do some push ups.

If you're asking do I even lift bro? The answer is not recently.

Yes I did lift my son at the time. I said it to be funny, but obviously my sense of humor is not well received here.

Biden is old as fuck.  While I don’t expect it and I certainly don’t think there’s any kind of conspiracy for it, it would not shock me at all if Biden encountered health problems in the next 9 months that forced him to drop out.  It sucks that the other side wouldn’t see that for what it would be, and instead would see it as proof that a cabal of babyblood drinkers is pulling the strings of world politics behind the scenes.

I don’t think Biden should run, but 81 is not old as fuck. My dad is 83, sleeps well, eats well, walks 2-3 miles everyday, writes journals and editorials, and his brain is sharp as ever.

Granted he’s not trying to run the country with 70+ million notions, but  81 isn’t that old AF.

    Smacking your food

If you do those things your parents sucked dick at raising kids....

Not to mention elbows on the table, and feet on the chair.

Trust me, I tell my daughter EVERY SINGLE MEAL and she still eats like she’s raised by wolves.

when the manlet walking into the restroom before you takes the last adult urinal, leaving you with the child height one

Or the full size man who picks the kid urinal because it’s the first one he sees, so my son does the pee pee dance while the dude with a enlarged prostate drips urine for the next 3 minutes minutes.

  8. Day 4 into intermittent fasting. It does not suck as much as I expected.

I've always been nonchalant when it comes to breakfast, but had a bad habit of snacking after 10PM. I've been going to bed earlier (side benefit) so not eating between 8PM to the following noon isn't as hard as I expected.

I want to get back to my 2015 weight when my son was born. It's just 5-7 pounds, but with my workload lately, it's easier to achieve weight loss through diet rather than working out.

Not trivial but I just read an article about about some hikers showing the damage caused by turons at Kings Canyon and Sequoia National Parks. One of the things mentioned was how many idiots were carving their names, initials or school names in the trunks of trees.

I would bet that a particular school in Brazos County is one of the offenders.

    Call you what?

I think it's called "I want dem titties!!"

If I had only watched the video without reading the words, I wouldn't have remembered the color of the horse.

  11. People who call me between 12PM and 1PM.

Not as much as people scheduling meetings between 12PM and 1PM.

But holy hell, this is the only time I can step away and not think about work (other than post on Surly). Leave me alone.

  12. Rocket Mortgage running ads telling people to take home-equity loans to cover everyday expenses (grocery costs going up).

The US does not need any more debt. If you can't afford groceries, then it's time to put the smoked salmon and ribeye back on the refrigerated section, buy store brands, eat chicken, rice and beans.

Don’t laugh, professional mourners are a big thing all over Asia.
living in Taipei, Taiwan in the 1950s we frequently saw pro mourners dressed like those below riding around town  in back of pickups, dump trucks, flatbed trailers, etc. wailing like banshees for some departed soul.

Kinda weird when we first saw some of them in action.

We hired one for my grandmother’s funeral. I wanted to shove that microphone down her throat (the professional cryer, not my grandmother), then beat my aunts for hiring her.
