  1. Too many fucking morons on this board. I now understand why people dislike this board so much. Enjoy your eco chamber. I am out.
  2. What does the House have anything to do with the Presidential elections? The richest states currently don't decide Presidential elections.
  3. Guess we have Lithuanian ties now.
  4. I said "reluctantly' because I didn't find her an exciting candidate. I still voted for her because I thought if she just steered the ship, we are good, much better than the alternative. I usually vote for the candidate, not the party. Also, California votes have no impact on the general elections, which I find to be ridiculous because the state contributes the most to the gdp. I think we should change the electoral college to popular vote, but that's a discussion for another day.
  5. While I don't disagree with who to blame, I think you need to be strategic. What is right may not win you the election. Counting on people in rural America to not be racist or sexist is not a winning strategy. Trump won because he told those voters what they wanted to hear. You have to know your audience and can't always expect them to behave rationally.
  6. The guy was negging and attacking my posts before I responded. I usually try to stay out of politics because it brings the worst out of people, but these are desperate times. If we don't act, the country is going to be run by a lunatic cult for a long time that is undoing everything that made this country the envy of the world.
  7. You lower the national debt by cutting government spending, having a good gdp growth and increasing tax revenues. This administration is attempting to fix one while tanking the other two. That's not going to lower our debt.
  8. What is a financial deficit? Does he mean a trade deficit? We are richer than China in every metric imaginable, but I guess we need them to buy our products more for some reason?
  9. Hey fuck turd, you don't seem to possess any brain. Why don't you go post on X. I didn't come here to pick fights. I am just as frustrated as most normal people.
  10. Yes, reluctantly because 1) my vote doesn't matter because I live in California, and 2) I knew she didn't do enough to win. I normally don't vote in the presidential elections because California doesn't matter in our stupid electoral system, but this time I did.
  11. Correct. To ignore that reality was the mistake the dems made. They would have won easily if the candidate was a white Christian male. This election was too important to gamble with the deep rooted racism in our country.
  12. If you think her race didn't matter, you haven't been paying attention.
  13. I reluctantly voted for her because I knew the alternative would be terrible for the country. The country isn't ready for a black Indian woman to be the president and Biden didn't do her any favors by waiting till the 11th hour to pull his candidacy. Democrats were too rocky or they were content with conceding the election for whatever reason.
  14. Ackman, Musk, Chamath, Vivek and a few other billionaires hitched their wagon to Trump because they saw how he was able to manipulate the "poorly educated." Democrats are also to blame for creating this monster. The party was leaning too far left and ran a terrible campaign. If the country survives until the midterms, there will be a reckoning for the MAGA candidates though. I hope we survive that long.
  15. That felt so good!
  16. Volantis, the silent assassin.
  17. He needs a live-in substitute daddy, not a nanny.
  18. Most likely, it's the latter because they were good contributors at their respective schools before coming here. We just didn't have any offensive identity that let the guys be the best version of themselves. Maybe it's my battered RT syndrome, but I just can't get too excited about transfers who didn't shine in whatever teams and conferences they came from. It will be a nice surprise if they do better in the SEC but it's far from being given.
  19. Is he good enough to crack the starting lineup or is he going to be a bench contributor? His numbers don't look too good. I don't want Coach Miller to make the same mistake as RT did, which was to fill up the roster with bread and many here trying to justify how they were going to be good.
  20. We need to build our own dynasties. I think Sark and Schloss might get us there.
  21. All these high floor coaches seem to have a nemesis who they can't beat at the biggest stage, it seems. Georgia in football, Oklahoma in Softball, and South Carolina in WBB. Coach Miller probably falls in this bucket also. I agree Sark will probably break through this season or next with Arch.
  22. CDC has hired a few coaches who have been knocking on the door for a while. They are high floor coaches but haven't won it all. I guess the hope is that if you keep knocking on the door, you're eventually going to break through.
  23. I agree, Rori is a limited PG. She is too short to drive to the basket without getting blocked.
