So, learn me then.
How is restoring the natural flow of water fucking it up?
Let’s see.
Pure spring water?
Or
Pure spring water mixed with urban runoff?

COA should hire a team of consultants from New York do do a 5 year study and when they are through, hire a team of auditors from Seattle to find out where all of the money went.

Yep. My wife got the Sieko for my birthday and then the Citizen was Amazon’s “deal of the day” for $105 like you said. Couldn’t pass that up, so ended up getting both.

That must be loud as shit In person. I can hear it clearly off of Southwest Pky. Welcome to the jungle!

Agree on the quality and suitability for mountains. But they're like mopeds and fat chicks.
Fun to ride and give great blowjobs?- 2

I couldn’t decide so my wife got me both.
I like the look and weight of the Seiko more but it cost 3x more than the Citizen.- 3

What temp was the water bath?
155 for 14 hours... but it could have gone for 24 hours.

Man I’m glad you labeled that container. Thought the big tub of water with plastic wrapped meat floating in it and a thermometer sticking out of the top was a casserole there for a second
Do you not have a wife that would store kitty litter or some shit in it if it wasn't labeled?

I shared this in the sous vide thread and thought I’d stick it here too. I put a frozen brisket in a sous vide bath all night, trimmed it, seasoned it, and then put it in my Bradley electric smoker for about 6 hours. Not great. Not bad. Would do again.

I had to try it. Put the FROZEN brisket in the water bath at 155 for 16 hours and then threw it in an ELECTRIC pellet smoker for another six hours. Other than no smoke ring it turned out pretty damn good, all things considered.

I’m looking for a sub $300 solar dive watch. Right now I’m deciding between the Citizen Eco-drive Promaster and the Seiko Prospex solar power divers X 200m.
And advice? -
My father recently paid about $5k to unwind a 20 year old generation skipping trust and set up a standard will. My brother and I went through all of the conditions he had originally set up in the trust and he couldn’t explain any of it. In fact the trust contradicted many of his current wishes. It became apparent that, as a poster mentioned above, it was originally set up because of my father ‘s ego and desire for control. I think it’s all sorted out now.
My wife’s side of the family has a corporation set up inside of a generation skipping trust and it is a total shit show that has provided nothing but heartache and grief. I call it the ‘Dis-trust’. It could be dissolved in a year after one of the grandchildren reach 30. This trust was also set up in order to control beyond the grave.

RIP DJ
True love will find you in the end
You'll find out just who was your friend
Don’t be sad, I know you will
But don’t give up until
True love will find you in the end- 2

I’m in Ocala now driving around town with a buddy looking for propane and a generator. Was going to fly back to Austin on Monday but moved it up to Sunday so we don’t get stuck here.

I have all my 401k at Fidelity unconstrained by any employer sponsored plan. Say around $500k. Should I be doing something different? I don’t know how their fees differ from comparable managers.

Don’t understand all the hostility. It’s not a dumb question. The sign has an arrow indicating where you can park. The sign was placed there by the gubmint. Traffic laws also dictate that you can’t drive through a red light, but a cop in the intersection can override that. If a permanent sign says you can park somewhere, it’s not unreasonable to think that it overrides other rules on the books.
That being said, I’d just pay the ticket. But I bet the parking popo write tickets in spots like that ALL the time. They’re probably getting several people in that spot everyday. So making a fuss about it and getting it moved could be a good way to stick it to the man.
Your thoughtful and well reasoned response has no place here. Now move along.- 1

We’ve had Abode for a couple of years. Really like the geo fence feature that turns the system on when I drive away and off when I pull in.
