I used to hunt, fish and camp in Kerr County a lot in the 90's. Beautiful country.
On one trip me and some friends found a fishing spot where the water was crystal clear and the bass was the size of a dog. We never caught anything and couldn't find that spot ever again after that day. We were high as shit on mushrooms and pot so it is possible we were sitting at creek staring at minnows the whole time.
One time we rented a camp cabin from one of the local camps in Kerr on a hunting trip. I went to use the restroom late at night at one of the central bathrooms when the lights turned off mid dump. I ended firing off several rounds from a Colt 1911 out the bathroom window. It turned out the bathroom light was on a timer and Jason Voorhees wasn't trying to kill me. I blame Jack Daniels and Marijuana for that mishap.
Regarding Kerrville, I was a Little League All Star coach that clinched a sectionals held in Kerrville. Three Year Lettermen achievement unlocked.
My cousin owns a popular Mexican restaurant in Kerrville but it would probably be a 5 out of 10 place in San Antonio.
That's all I got to say about the place. Basically most of my experience with the area is getting fucked up with firearms which is normal for the location.
Would not recommend.
This has been my experience as well and it mirrors how people used to rely on Google.
About 8 years ago, I had a customer that had a situation where they needed to integrate a Go client with a particular SCADA solution. It didn't require a deep knowledge of Go but some familiarity was needed. My guy who was on the job had no experience with Go but was a retired engineer that worked in the "RTFM" days. Old guy spends a few days Googling resources and is all set for the project after a short period of time.
The client's guy, a young guy in his mid twenties spent the entire time Googling snippets of code to copy pasta some Frankenstein shit that just didn't work.
The old guy understood the logic involved and knew what he didn't know and was able to track down the missing knowledge. The other guy didn't know enough to effectively find any of the information he needed.
I've been working with my daughter on softball infield drills the same way I trained her brothers.
So it turns out with girls, you need to discuss their feelings. I told my daughter that her older brothers were trained the same way and she said "that's why they are like robots."
Me.
I would say this all varies by different sects within Christianity. A lot of it has to do with a particular sect's theology.
For example, the Reformed practice theological determinism where God is sovereign and immutable. They do practice prayers of intercession and supplication but it's very similar to Augustinian prayer and more about gaining understanding to one's alignment with God's will rather than asking for a favor.
Prayer is meant to be meditative in most Christian sects. Prayer is meant to be reflective on God and scripture and introspective through confession and aligning one's behavior to God's attributes and scripture. This is the practice in most forms of Christianity.
This practice is limited to a minority of Christian sects that happen to be the most vocal.
Popped off several hundred dollars worth of fireworks which is not a lot of fireworks. Thanks Trump for the inflation.
Threw some fireworks at the feet of young teenage boys who were invited over by my daughter while holding a dram of whiskey.
I used to play this one a lot in high school. At the time, I thought it was superior to Madden and expected Cyberball to be the sports game of the future.
