Do you even Jimbo bro?
I forgot how he killed his 2018 transition class.. he beat Saban head to head for a DE Running back

The price of cutting ties with Mehringer (and not having an OC and half our coaching staff in place by signing day).
half? We got Beck, Tom, Hand, and Drayton on board lol

Just whistling past the graveyard, huh? We have some elite prospects In this class (one less as of last night), but it’s going to be a small class with limited depth followed by a real transition class.
If we had fired Herman this year, a new coach could’ve come in with a ton of talent and a senior Sam and won big right away with good depth in the roster for future years and cleaned up in 2021 recruiting. Instead, recruiting will be on a downward trend for a year, 2021 class will struggle, guys will hit the portal before a new HC comes in because Herman and Ash can’t keep a locker room together while losing, and we’ll be back in the cycle of new coach taking over a roster with some talent but a ton of holes.
The new HC will be better off than CS or Herman were when they came in, but we needed to get out of this shitty cycle of having one or two good classes followed by transition classes that we’ve been in for almost a decade now. Firing Herman this year was the way out by keeping as much of the small 2020 class together as possible and then cleaning up in 2021, but we didn’t do it and now we’re one year behind the clusterfuck that is USC currently. Now our best hope is that we don’t keep Herman for two years as a dead man walking, like USC is.FutureMan?

this isn't a transition class
Exactly.. my message was for the ones that are comparing 2020 to a transition class. This class could be better but it's not as tragic as some would make it seem like. Tomorrow is NSD and unless some of y'all get your wet dream, we aren't getting 15 decommits by 6 am tomorrow morning.

It’s almost like this announcement from Harrell was perfectly timed to help USC recruiting, also help his alma mater’s recruiting and fuck Texas’ recruiting.
I mean, who could have seen this coming?
Harrell is a TCU alumni? lol

Not if Del Conte goes anti-herman and has a plan in place that includes a splash hire for in place by December 1st.
If Dabo Swinney himself announced he would be the next Texas HC on December 1st, wouldn't mean a top 15 finish for 2021. Kids aren't just gonna flock to a coach despite his track record without having that relationship first. But I hope Tom makes us look like idiots and gets us 10/11 wins next season..

2021 could be the transition class that will remind most of us what transition classes really look like.
-
Who the fuck knew that a transition class would have the #1 RB in Bijan, a badass QB in JQJ, a bluechip DL in Broughton and a very underrated CB in Crawford? It does remind me of 2016 and 2013.

I was referring to the part about Jaylen Garth where it said he had a lower boy injury. But, your point stands. Given the shitshow that's been going on, it's amazing that we haven't had a mass exodus.
Just being able to hold onto Bijan is a miracle itself. I still do think QJ signs with us Wednesday. Sure Malcolm Kelly may be cool and all..however at the end of the day.. Why go to TCU where they had a legit top 5 WR and didn't do much for the guy. Since Meacham left, they have struggled to put points on the board.
-
So it's pretty much gospel what Anwar said of Tom and his OC reasoning..which means no Harrell? Because I don't buy it until Harrell, USC announces the extension he signed.
-
If Clark is hinting QJ with a silent, then it means he's signing with Texas Wednesday. The news about Collins is great for us. No way he goes elsewhere once the defensive staff solidifies itself next month.

He's supposed to be a pretty decent player, but he's also a legacy, so I'm sure that has a lot to do with it. His dad played with Dabo.
And Clemson told Flowe they are done at LB.
Flowe is a stud, but Clemson backup ain't exactly chopped liver either. Guess this means Flowe to Oregon? USC is a complete clusterfuck

Not when they’re contending
Even moreso.. I mean the coaches can't even do anything when satellite camps get cancelled because of LSU not wanting certain school in the area.. not knowing that they are effecting the second/third tier kids.

I’m fine with it, since kids drop schools all of the time. I’d like for programs/coaches to get blackballed from high schools if they pull that shit though, and some high school coaches will do that, but most won’t
Yeah no Louisiana coach is gonna black ball LSU or he'll be out of a job by the end of the day
-
I hope LSU annihilates ou.. but don't fret you down low thieves in here.. we will get revenge for y'all in Baton Rouge in September.

Anyone actually go to Hooter's anymore? Figured the crowd just moved onto Twin peaks over 10 years ago

I refuse to believe that Collins ends up in fucking Waco..

I bought into the latest @OnAComputer pod with his cohost saying "maybe" the second in house meeting with Bijan today will have the new OC in tow.
-
If they do land Zach.. aggy twitter will be RT'ing the #1 QB/WR/RB in the state pic from here on out til one of them transfers like clockwork
-
sooo @Randolph Duke what's the big present/surprise ?!?!

You have got to stop with this bullshit about Anwar being a mouthpiece. He's a completely unconnected imbecile getting paid by another one.
There will be flips if coordinators aren't named by NSD1. You're either being purposefully obtuse or willfully naive.
None of this shit matters. New coordinators will be named within the next few days, at the latest.
any hints on who it might potentially be?

I'm sure Nebraska misses having a recruiting foot in Texas, but they claim to recruit nationally.
I know Mizzou does.
What hurts Nebraska is not being able to take in 5th grade reading level kids anymore and getting them qualified to enroll. Mizzu still recruits the state.

I'm going to hold out some small hope that he doesn't sign tomorrow and waits til NSD2.
