Rumor is that Michael Huff has a 10 car garage. I believe that is enough space for a Lamborghini AND a Tesla.

Wasn't Huff the guy who was driving his high school hooptie to and from the raiders stadium/practice facility everyday?

The Big 12 would take Mizzou back in a nano-second if they called.  KC and StL media markets.  Flagship state university of the 18th largest state with no other FBS school in the state as a clear competitor.   Compare Mizzou to what we had to pick from last year -- BYU, Cincy, UH, Memphis, CSU . . . .  Mizzou is head and shoulders over any of those schools.  They really should come back.  They're a total misfit in the SEC, especially in the east division.

nah man , they were the first one raising their skirts and dropping to its knees trying to get out of the conference.. let them take their money and have their sports fizzle with the occasional 8/9 win season.

I also think that the BIG 12 should continue to stay at 10 teams for now, the money hasn't been effected yet.

The only reasonable solution is a scheduling alliance and pooling the media rights for purposes of negotiations.  Maybe even throw in a Pac vs. Big 12 bowl game and/or kick-off classic type game as part of the media package.

Reduce the conference games to a 8 game schedule (with one permanent rivalry game per team if we stay at 10).  Everyone plays 2 Pac-12 teams each year.  One early season game and one game later in the season like the SEC does.  It would work best if we had 12 teams but it's doable with 10.  To get to 12 we try to get Mizzou and Arkansas or Nebraska back.  I think Mizzou is doable, don't know about Arkansas or Nebraska but it's worth a try.  If we could get Mizzou back, I'd take just about anyone to fill the 12th spot.

Why would we want to bring Mizzou back?? Nebraska is too prideful to ever return even if it's their best option to become "elite" again. Maybe Arkansas..if we finally kick out Baylor

Why does the message seem to be working more effectively with oos kids than in-state ones?

Because the Texas talent overrates themselves and love being coddled into thinking they are the next [insert name]/aggy

Does this count as improper benefits according to the NCAA if the coach is fucking a recruits mom?

Of course not, you win over the momma, you get said recruit 90% of the time.

BTW I'm sure this happens a lot more that we think.. I bet Kliff cleans up on the recruiting tail..

Why bother with poaching teams, either direction? Big 12 and Pac 12 would be well-served by developing a strong cross-conference media arrangement and interconference scheduling. No need to trash either one or create an unwieldy mega-conference. Keep the conferences' strengths while shoring up each other's perceived weaknesses (Pac-12's lack of reach into strong football regions; Big 12's perceived ""poachability.").  The conferences can remain the regional ones we all prefer with a partnership that strengthens them both.

The merger is a stupid idea, however what you bring up isn't. Both conferences should play each other more frequent. TX vs USC/UCLA/UW/UO/AZ schools.. hell even Colorado would be nice games for the out of conference schedule.

Also I really hope UT schedules more home and home games out east for us transplanted fans.  I'm super excited about the MD game at FedEx in September.

Out of the 96 picks so far....8 have come from Big 12.   Pretty damn sad.

seems like the AFC North is getting 90% of them so far
