No, I have no idea if he had any sort of talent advantages at Sioux Falls, and I’m not denying that he’s a really good coach. I’m saying that h2h wins in a few games doesn’t necessarily tell us much about how good of a coach he is relative to Sark or Lanning.
5-0 against those 2 guys. Thats not exactly a fluke.

Which SEC division does Sioux Falls play in?
Which SEC division has Sark ever been a HC in?
He might fall on his face and be horrible, but he’s won everywhere he’s ever been a coach. He took a shit team (4-8 the year before he was hired, 11-2 in 2022) in Washington to the CFP (14-1).

I mean, context here matters. Beating the 2022 longhorns without Bijan and others isn’t really anything. Would we say Sark is clearly better if Mitchell had caught that last pass? Are we sure about how good he is without a QB in his mid-20s with freakish accuracy and first round WRs?
You think he had those at Sioux Falls when he was winning championships?

There is zero chance it’s James Franklin, but I sure hope it is.
Reports are that it’s Lanning and he’s in Bama doing the formal interview now.

- I hate Oregon, so Lanning is intriguing
- Watching the meltdown here if Sark left would be epic. Even moreso if he took Arch with him.

Nick “7 National Championships” Saban’s legacy will be 4th and 3?

fecals coach looks like he was drawn by Napoleon Dynamite. Shading is all wrong and shit.
He looks like someone took a picture of a typical Philadelphian who was just told Rocky isn’t real.

I’m telling you guys, losing 4/5* contributors for 3* and lower transfers is a GOOD THING!

Washington has no incentive to win this game. In fact, they have every reason to lose. They are in drivers seat for number two pick in the draft and a win could push them back as far as 6. In a loaded draft even if they wanted to trade down, the difference between 2 and 5 or 6 is huge.
If Dallas manages to lose it would be one of the biggest choke jobs in a long time. 13 point favorites against a team with that type of incentive to lose would be criminal.

Stephen Jones was just on the Fan. Asked about the fumble thru the end zone rule. He is on a the competition committee. He said he was up in the air on the rule, now he’s not. I think they change it to spot if the fumble, ball to defense.
I prefer it stays as is

The despondency comes with another 243 days until the next game. The void is deep and awful. We will be eating sand half way through June we will be so desperate for season to start.
life is best during the college football season. It won’t be college football season for a long time. Thus- despondency.Fair. That is perfectly fair.

I didn’t like the final throw (should have been thrown like a deep out, on a line) but Quinn was far FAR down the list of issues last night.
DBs getting torched.
DL with very limited pressure.
fumbles by Texas.
WRs never seeing the well thrown ball.
OL giving up pressure consistently.
And Quinn still had Texas in a position to have 4 chances at tying the ball game from the 15.

What an absolutely incredible season and job by Sarkisian. He proved me wrong in every manner and exceeded my every expectation for this program under his leadership.
kudos to him for what he has accomplished.

I thought going for 2 was the right call the first time. After that? Kick the XP.

It’s worse than you guys know. Here is an IG link. It has all 22 from both ends and other film.
It was an egregiously bad call that almost cost Dallas the game.
