You guys thinking this is still about wins and losses is so cute.

Scratch this kid’s name off the ‘23 roster. He gone.
But, get that bad ass mutherfucking script Texas jacket back before he takes the aggy chee$e…

And maybe king does have a strong arm?  Doesn’t make him a good qb.  My point is while card isn’t very good I’m not sure his arm strength is the main issue

I wasn’t disagreeing with you, more the point that these camps are too often taken as gospel

Mechanics or whatever (I’ll never claim to be knowledgeable on it), neither Card nor King have any proven ability to accurately and hastily move the ball with more than a short pass. Just from a rube watching the games, it’s easy to tell Card waits until the passing window begins closing before he winds up. That’s definitely not a mechanical problem in his game

I’ve always thought the thing about Sark is he could turn trash into treasure?

I don’t think Card is a good qb but I’m not sure where the arm strength thing comes from.  I think he was measured as having the strongest arm at one of those qb camps.

Didn’t the aggy qb (king) get tapped as having the strongest arm out there at a similar camp?  Now, he’s riding pine in a very ho-hum, 90’s throwback offense.

Maybe, just maybe, these “camps” are run by dudes that don’t know a fucking thing about assessing talent?

That's rough.  He's the only Aggy player in the last 10 years that I have actually liked.  Seems like a good kid from a good family...which is probably why the Aggy fans didn't even want him when he committed, and thought Cuckbo and their elite coaching staff were wasting a scholarship.

Injury sucks, but, wasn’t he caught high, speeding and with a loaded unregistered pistol in his car this summer?

He has more than enough talent to beat Tech.

Good point. Saying it’s a lack of talent means you have to believe that Texas has less talent than NC fucking State….

im going out on a limb and guessing that NCSt hasn’t had a higher 5 year avg recruiting class than Texas has

oh bullshit.  It's the same playbook he had at Alabama when he steamrolled everybody.   He doesn't have the talent.  This is mostly Tom fucking Herman's team.

How many times did Alabama run the same play (wildcat, draw, whatever) if it only produced noticeable gain (5+ yards) once every 8-12 attempts?

Even if it’s still “Tom Herman’s team”, it doesn’t explain why Bijan only had one pass attempted to him.

Sarkisian is supposed to be an offensive savant, but he seems very easy to gameplan for, going back to most of last year

Sark is an offensive savant but we still can't figure out that the wildcat is simply more than Johnson taking the snap, and running into the pile, over and over and over, with the same shit.

You can hand it off. Even more, the guy is an ex QB.  After running him into the line 18 straight times I'm guessing the defense wouldn't really be ready for a TE running free for a throw.

    Jesus.

Sure, Ohio State has massive talent. But, watching some of their game today, it’s glaringly obvious Sark doesn’t have more than a few pages in his play book.
that wildcat package is so predictable. It works solely out of a good block and having phenomenal Rb talent. But, you’re right, after a dozen of the same plays, the only decision a defense has to make is tackling on the left or right A gap

Rhule is better than Sark but way overrated. It sucks to see Oklahoma and Baylor continuously hit home run hires while we strike out every time

We’ll get the right guy, next time. Right? Right????

  9. Sark had a chance to claim the scoreboard at that piece of shit stadium held together with Velcro and syphillis, but…..yeah, fuck this guy. I want him to succeed, but I also want a Gulfstream G5.
He and Cristobal are both coordinators that somehow by weird fate ended up in roles they never deserved

Wait until Arch decommits and takes the class with him

The only hope for Sark is if Ewers wins games

Do yourself a favor and don’t get that far down the train of thought. At least, not until Monday, if not for anything other than saving a bit of sanity

  11. Is there any official word from lubbuttock that Shough has been ruled out for Saturday?  I could’ve sworn I heard that he was going to be starting

  12. Their Vision 2025 finally made it a permanent diploma mill, once and for all. Those engineering degrees are going to be heavily watered down with something like 10k students in their engineering program on their main campus.
And since there’s fuckall to do in that town, of course they’re all going to line up like good sheep (pun very much intended) and go to the home games - all 8 per year (also laughable)

Even with our QB situation, I don't really understand how the line is as low as it is. And that's exactly what concerns me. Vegas isn't dumb.

Not sure I’d give Vegas as much credit. They whiffed on both Ala-20.5 and completely missed aggy-19. Just saying…

    GP’s towel? Gross.

I don’t give a fuck if how that towel smells, as long as it helps the defense hold up for 56 minutes against the Almighty SEC Alabama 🙂

plus, if it DOES stink to high hell, it might be more effective than smelling salts, too
