I’m still new here… can anyone point me to the recruiting thread?

Actually paints the picture perfect “rich Texas donors would rather sit in private exclusive club than watch football”
A litmus test could be used to confirm who should be seated in the SEZ…for instance, if you can answer who Ron McKelvey was, then you’re good to go. If you have a ranch hand on your Range Rover, but live in HP, then no dice…

SEC stadiums have hedges.
Why not just plant our hedges in those seat locations? It’s not like they’re going to be used any time soon.
C’mon, CDC, make it happen:-) -

That’s coaching. Not talent. Look at recruiting history
Again, I disagree. There’s no coaching that can fix some of the ineptitude in our secondary. They’re not not good athletes. You can’t coach instinct, and our defense is proof, sadly

We have at least okie state level players
I may be new here, but I don’t think that’s a good take. Would a single defender on our roster start for OSU?

So which, if any, of the recruits at the game today are still interested in committing? Not being snarky, and leaving my own level of pessimism to myself— honestly asking

Here's the scary thing: our next two games are at Baylor and at ISU. The last three games should be wins but the next two could continue this slide
I got roasted earlier today when I suggested the ou loss could be the first of four. Watch out for your bunghole, dude…

Was last week the start of the rare “don’t let one loss beat you 3, or 4 times”?

I had to check and make sure what thread I was on. I truly thought I'd clicked on the food & travel one by mistake
I nominate Johnny Cash’s “I’ve Been Everywhere” for the Surly theme song

I'm active. I love being outside, doing stuff outside. I gravitate to cities/areas which support being outside. When I visit these areas, the biggest thing that stands out is the weather, the second biggest thing that stands out is that the people living in these areas are not fat as fuck. Texans are obese as fuck. The two go hand in hand.
Rockies:
snowboard, ski, cross country ski, hiking in the winter;
hiking, mountain biking, rock climbing, fly fish, camping in the summer.
winter and summer: enjoy the fuck out of the scenery
year round fun. that's the lifestyle that i want to live.
To be fair, Texans are fat. Alabamans/Mississippians, Cajuns are the real obese ones.

Didn’t know there were so many peeps willing to leave Texas here
I LOVE Texas. But, my allergies and my asthma don’t feel the same way….
I’m not going to move out of Texas, but I’m definitely whittling down my options on where to purchase 10-50 acres in Colorado so I can build an escape in the next 10 years.

Matt Stone and Trey Parker recently purchased Casa Bonita…

I don't think Loreal is exactly missing critical game planning meetings to do this.
Now does it point to the general shittiness of LHN content? Yes.
Speaking of…if there is a Football God, let’s pray he’s got a “strategy” for what to do with Lowell Galindo once we finally jettison this dried up conference

I don’t know if they’ll lose to Auburn in the dead dog memorial stadium.
But, I do think they’re one or two injuries away from the wheels falling off, again. -

I’d say 2023 is much more likely.
I was hoping/wishing for some reassuring 2022 rumor…it’s well past time we bug out of this butthole of a conference.

What odds would be realistic for Texas and ousux to be able to announce the move to the secsecsec for ‘22?
And if it’s in the cards, would there be any announcements, public or even off the record to recruits, before signing day 1? It seems like this could be as impactful for Sarkesian’s pitch this year as could W/L record and current and obvious early playing time? -
Are some of these “long shot” recruits going to be giving us another look if Sarkesian runs the remainder of the schedule? Would they give Texas more consideration if Aggy does their thing and loses another game or two?
Or, has the die been cast on ‘22 uncommitted/listening kids that Texas would gladly take?
-
There were rumors of a few starters ready to sit out the remaining games if Alabama went in deep against Aggy tonight
instead, 5-stars are going to fall in love with Aggy all over again. Yuck
-
Considering these freaks still talk about that Manziel win a decade ago, how long will we have to hear about this?

-
so, Aggy winning tonight is somewhat sub-optimal for Texas, correct???

I'm far from a State Fair know-it-all, but if anyone has any questions about parking/traffic routes/entry gates/food-drink strategies, feel free to PM me... after 40 years of attending the fair, I've got a few tried and true tricks to offer.

Is the bag game as important to those in the portal as it is for top-tier HS recruits? Or, are they more interested in starting lineups and maximizing field time?
