  1. Consider it a black box of fuckery, which all models are in reality. None of us knows what is going to happen the next 2 rounds of games. But I have a fair idea we are getting left out, think the common knowledge on this site is exclusive to emotional Horn fans, and have accordingly bet on it. I’ll bet more money.
  2. I’m sorry data and probabilities crack you up, Lou. I’m aware games are played on the field, and I love college football. I’ll be there Friday and will kick Yormark in the balls if that chicken fucker shows up. But we have 2 weeks left and are running out of time for upsets to help us, while winning our last 3 games against meh opponents by an average of 5 points. You know, games that were actually played on the field.
  3. ESPN has us at 29% if we win out, which sounds more reasonable: https://www.espn.com/espn/feature/story/_/page/cfbplayoffpredictor/cfb-playoff-predictor Bama at 32%. UGA at 76% if they lose SEC CCG. What is interesting is ESPN argues UGA is probably in no matter what and is more than twice as likely as conference winners Bama and Texas to make it. I like these percentages less than the other one but again they tell the same story.
  4. Deserve has zero to do with my “terrible take”. I’m telling you how it will probably be.
  5. Well we’ve already bet, so I’ll just take your money instead of kissing your ass.
  6. I know quite a bit about it. I’m sorry a large portion of our fan base insists on being emotionally brainless about this. Here’s one web site I pay attention to: http://www.playoffstatus.com/ncaafootball/ncaafootballtournpartprob.html According to this site, if we win out, we have 49% shot, versus Bama’s table-running 69% shot. I think we out to be lower in that scenario but I realize a lot can happen. I think Bama however ought to be much higher in their scenario. What is most interest is UGA’s 93% shot with a loss, which most assuredly is assumed to be SECCCG. I’ll post more probabilities like this. But they’re all directionally similar. And yet I am the clueless one.
  7. Maybe, but it won’t be to put Texas in. UGA would still be ahead of us. Bama winning is disastrous, and the cute, contrarian thinking about this game is insane to me.
  8. A 12-1, 2-time defending champ UGA with 22 wins in a row prior to getting knocked off by Bama absolutely gets in over us. You’re crazy if you think otherwise. I suspect a UM or OSU team that didn’t make its CCG does not. But I don’t know that.
  9. This is 100% wrong. Bama must be eliminated because with a win, both Bama and UGA will be ahead of us and both likely make the playoff. It is crazy people think this would benefit us - and legitimately think we’d be ahead of UGA if this happens. Our win wouldn’t be devalued at all (unless a blowout) with the clear #1 beating them - and us, and nobody else.
  10. Yeah, took me a minute staring at the second one. I’m a bit of a grammar nazi and I just saw the second. Then I saw the first. Sounds like a difficult Aggy schedule.
  11. I cannot imagine us, for a very long time, playing any of these schools again in anything, particularly if their is a B12 officiating / ump crew. This ought to be like a Coug High thing. By the way, you know Yormark very intentionally scheduled us to play those commuter fucktards at their place.
  12. Y’all ever seen a Mississippi Starfish?
  13. That’s any underdog, particularly playing at home.
  14. It’s highly important. We have not looked good down the stretch, and in the current system CFB absolutely is a beauty contest. If Bama beats UGA, they jump ahead of us without question. They won’t (Bama), but I hope I lose my bet to The Great Hornsby if the scenario (UGA winning a close one) comes to pass (it won’t). I think UGA wins, and our rooting priorities need to be: 1) FSU loss 2a) Win beauty contest with Big Game loser 2b) Win beauty contest with PAC 12 losing UW.
  15. $100 if UGA keeps it within 3 points. Yes. This is the way the world works.
  16. I think the scenario is far fetched but under the right parameters, I’d absolutely bet you. You can call me delusional all you want, but anyone that isn’t a biased Texas fan openly discusses this probable outcome.
  17. I don’t know and would question that seriously after they play Georgia. But Bama looks like a totally different team now and if they win the SEC, they’re definitely ahead of us. I don’t want it to happen, but it absolutely will.
  18. Agreed but Huard is a color guy. He’s not bad. Galindo and Brando are the worst ever and yes on Galindo over Brando.
  19. Conference championships mean much less than the committee says. Look at last year. This year is different of course with better options on the table. The Committee will not choose Texas over a 2 time defending national champ with 22 straight victories if it loses a close game in the SEC CCG. It just isn’t.
  20. Sunset isn’t at 7 on the Equator
  21. If Bama wins CCG, Bama is in. This is an absolute no brainer. And, UGA is probably ahead of us AND an undefeated FSU. Bama winning is the worst possible scenario. This is as obvious a scenario as there is, and you’re taking the exact opposite stance.
