Given how quiet the driver was the whole time I’m assuming he is the younger brother and has been dealing with this kind of shit his entire life

This was my first thought as well. Younger brother is beaten down by decades of older brother’s  constant berating of others. His reward for answering the officer’s question is getting arrested. I have empathy for this guy.

I have experience in this situation. It’s one of the key reasons I moved away after college.

He would curl up in a ball and cry like a baby if he had to deal with the shit that Gen X did.  Us Gen Xers, when we were 11 or 12, we knew exactly how many 11 or 12 year-olds were needed to take down a healthy male hitchhiker between the ages of 18-25 and then dispose of the body.

I have tix to see them again Fri night in Ft Worth.

Tonight it’s Gary Clark Jr at majestic

  7. Is this the secret decoder ring that tells us the line a GQP politician cannot cross?

Despicable behavior to humans = ok

Despicable behavior to dogs = political death

Surely, there’s gotta be some dirt on malignant narcissist dotard doing something evil to a dog.

If she's the VP pick, this may be the first time my MIL (one issue voter- abortion, except for now) ever votes D.

This is an odd tipping point. Grab ‘em by the pussy didn’t move the needle?

I am but a simple layman, but the thought of any juror who has a personal agenda they will act on in deliberations getting through voir dire makes my blood boil.  I know it happens, though.

I was on a collin county jury in the late 90’s. Neither the prosecution, defense attorney or judge asked me any questions. I was something like prospective juror #30 out of 50. Maybe both attorneys had used all their dismissals by that point but I found it surprising that no questions were asked of me.

That's the Library of Congress.  I'm surprised Boobert didn't burst into flames being near that many books.

My nephew slept on that floor along with his fellow oklahoma national guard soldiers when they were protecting the peaceful transition of power at the 2021 biden inauguration from the maga.

I trust that story has gotten him laid numerous times.
