Frankly if you are the Manning camp, I think you prefer Ewers to be the QB in the 1st year of SEC with the potential losses of Worthy, Mitchell, Sanders, Whittington, and Brooks from the skill rooms.

Lol if any superstar recruit thought this way, I'd like to suggest they quit football and go be a synchronized swimmer or something.

Need recs for a good restaurant off the Strip -- something unique and/or where the locals hang.  Can be any kind of cuisine.  Already have Piero's lined up one night, but need something for a second night.  Have done Lotus of Siam (which is outstanding) the last two times we were in Vegas, so looking for something different this time.

But if the ball comes out at the end it isn't a catch. Make it make sense. It's either one way or the other.

If he catches it at the opponents 40 and stretches the ball ahead to the 39 while in the process of surviving the ground, with knee down, where do they spot the ball?

Sorry, man, but the game was put on tilt when Murphy made that stupid fucking throw early in the 4th quarter. He's fucking terrible in every aspect of being a P5 QB besides being a good teammate and being able to throw a good deep ball when he's not imagining pressure. He was the worst player on the field on Saturday for either team on either side of the ball. In short, he created the meltdown and deserves a ton of the blame for the game going in the direction it went.

10, the DB for KState (Parrish?) was the worst player on the field. We could have thrown for 100 more yards on that scrub. KSU took him out entirely for a series or two after we had burned him repeatedly.

I am hoping to go Wed or Friday - I've read that you can get tickets for under $200, if you wait until after the 8:00 start time. I've read they are available on some apps, but not on all.

I mean that would make sense. Anybody holding extras trying to sell them on SeatGeek or whatever is gonna panic by 8pm and just try to get rid of them

Looks like showtime is actually 830-840. I will be there Friday night.

Whitey-on-whitey slander really isn't an issue.

Also I wasn't even referring to skin color, but Zilla is a dumb fuck.

    Fucking Zilla'd. Goddammit

I will make sure to include some real blatant and horrible racist takes at the end of all my future restaurant reviews. Just for Zilla. He's going to be mortified when he hears what I think about the Swedes.

  7. This is a terrible idea, but if you must do it, go up to the 300 or 400 level. Most people seem to go straight ahead to the 200 level SRO once entering the stadium so that level is a shit show.

Still a shit show up higher but at least there are a few less people.

  8. So far they've sold out a couple of nights. Still a bunch of vanillas walking right past them to go eat shitty ass Velvet Taco, but the second some cool blogger gives them props I will have to start fighting pussies for my nightly torta.

  9. The Guapo Taco food truck moved in to the back patio where that bullshit Fanboys Grill was, next door to Abbey Pub.

I don't know about the rest of the menu but the pastor torta is the fucking shit. I have eaten four in the past week and I look forward to my fifth tomorrow some time after Texas beats the piss out of Houston.

  10. Will be in Vegas in a couple of weeks, BYU-Texas weekend. Staying at Venetian, but it looks like the William Hill Sportsbook at venetian doesn't get very great reviews.

I haven't done a CFB sportsbook day in Vegas in a few years. My default would be to get over to MGM Grand by 1230 and watch there. I don't know if they still have the bar off to the back left of the sportsbook, but I remember a couple of times pounding giant ass beers there for relatively cheap and talking CFB with fellow degenerates all day. Had a good time there.

What say the experts here? Is there a can't miss sports bar around the strip that I should be going to instead?  I'd be ok with sports bar over sports book, especially if there might actually be some women to look at (there are usually zero in any sports book) but I also don't want to waste time at some bullshit place that doesn't know how to work their TVs on a game day. I think I'm likely to be solo at this time because I'm not traveling with any other Horns and they'll probably be sleeping in on Saturday anyway. So I don't need a place where I can book a private booth or cabana or anything like that.
