Seriously though, I understand being upset if your window gets broken but I'm not sure that approaching a group as a 70+ year-old, cussing and wielding a golf club is the right move.

The specific amount needed for the repair tells me this isn't anywhere close to the first time this has happened.  I think some unbreakable glass for the vulnerable windows would do wonders for this guy's life enjoyment factor.

I certainly have been known to slice one from time to time, and once, even avoided buying a home on a course because of the potential hassle factor of golf balls hitting the house, but if someone does buy that house how do they let themselves get so worked up when ball hits it?  Seems like a risk you could evaluate, and make your peace with, when making the purchase.

Having said all that, the Birk foot on the dash tells me there's at least a 40% chance these guys are douches who deserved everything the old man gave them. Video ended 10 seconds too soon,  I definitely wanted to see the next guy on the tee hit that ball.

You know it headed right for the house in question.

one of the oldest rules in caddying is NEVER tell a golfer what they shouldn't do.  tell them what they should do.  power of suggestion.

Peterson is a fucking quack that constantly spews misogynistic nonsense like the Tate stream of insanity. The only difference is Peterson wraps up his ramblings in pseudo-intellectual nonsense with Jungian references. Peterson probably fools more people because they can't decipher his psychobabble.

Did you click on the video above?  Again, I don't really have a bone in the fight regarding Peterson.  I clicked on it expecting something "insane" and it isn't in that video as far as I can tell.  But that video doesn't really have a lot of JP content.  Just some speaking clips and movie clips centered around bad relationships.  Kind of weird.

I've really only ran into Peterson on Real Time and a couple other places(cable news maybe) I can't think of off hand.

@Incredulity when were you at Texas?  I don't remember going through any campus seminars/classes my freshman year (89).

But there's also a chance that I was either too drunk or stoned to remember.

I'm Gen X.  as well.  Maybe I am conflating something else from early work years.  I seem to remember sitting through some seminars/orientations around general safety/sexual harassment/student life....   The one point that really stuck with me was the definition of "offensive" around harassment and that "offensive" was up to the person who was offended.  That sparked some moron to want to debate so we had to sit there 20 min longer than we should have.

I don't really know either of them well.  Tate seems like pseudo alpha a-hole.  Peterson insists on himself, but I haven't heard him espouse similar.  He says there are women psychopaths, but they can't use physicality to victimize so they use other means.  Which seems pretty right to me.  There are bad, bad people of both sexes out there.

Watch the video above. They hide behind faux intellectualism and being alpha and in control of their own life/destiny to oppress and write off women and their opinions/rights as humans. It’s completely psychotic.

I think maybe you linked the wrong video?

    insanity.

What do you find in this video to be insanity?   This video really is 30% Peterson speaking behind a Ben Affleck/Ana DA movie that I don't really know.

Jordan Peterson and Andrew Tate seem quite different in basically every way.

Sorry I didn't include a link to back my claim of what happened in the past is what happened in the past. Taxes have been consistently cut while spending fueled by debt has grown over the same period (because taxes were cut).

But if you'd care to give me a more cogent disagreement than quoting 7 words out of a post and saying "NYUH UH!!" that'd be neat

There have been cuts AND increases since 2000.  You just happen to omit the increases to sell your anti-capitalism/anti-USA garbage

  8. Lets not pretend that porn was a rarity for young adults in the  late 80’s and 90’s.  Yeah it was a bit more effort to rewind Debbie does Dallas and maybe a few people didn’t have a VCR but it was readily available with not a lot of challenges.

  9. CSB warning.

Have a buddy who used to live on a golf course right at just about the perfect right handed slice yardage.  Stucco sided house that was constantly peppered with balls.  Looked like swiss cheese.  I didn't see it but he told me he came home once to a broken glass coffee table from a ball coming down his chimney.
