I'd love for someone to explain it to me because I legit don't get it. Is there a song I'm missing? Or some path of what she inspired from other artists like Elvis did with rock and roll?

  2. This may just be "end of series" pablum, but I was encouraged?

I do want to do spin offs. I’m already trying. As soon as we announced the ending, I was like, ‘I think I know of a great feature film that I could do, a Rez Dogs return.’ So, I’m already plotting. It’s just that this story needed to end. This story was about loss and grief and coming of age. And this was the arc that we wanted to tell. It doesn’t mean we can’t pick it back up. But there is not a continuation right now. It could easily come back, but it’ll be something else. And it will be later.

Free will is an illusion.  Everything is determined by the laws of physics.  Consequently, we are not morally responsible for our actions.  This is why you shouldn't judge people that you are not inclined to judge.  For the people you would like to judge, Donald Trump for example, there are a more elaborate set of compatibilist type arguments that demonstrate why some people are morally responsible for their actions even though they are just bags of meat at the complete mercy of the laws of nature.

Look, man... You can choose from phantom fears and kindness that can kill. I will choose a path that's clear, I will choose free will.

(put differently... Maybe I'm just predestined to disagree with you. 😁

The male loneliness epidemic and how it affects fathers

    Quote

In the United States, many men have become disconnected from the societal institutions that have anchored dads to each other and our community. Historically, men have made long-term bonds through religious institutions and friendships at work. Our sense of worth derived from what we could provide our families.

    Quote

Too often, fathers are portrayed as unnecessary idiots that complicate parenting rather than adding to the family. In movies, TV shows and novels, the father must often be restrained by the mother. Instead of encouraging involved parenting by men, popular culture tends to ridicule it. That messaging has to affect how fathers and others feel about their parenting.

  5. Flying out of Seattle (SeaTac, south of the city), I typically just go with the flight that is some combination of direct/affordable. Would prefer not to leave at 6 am, although that's the typical case for flights going east.

But if it's within the parameters allowed, I prefer to fly Alaska out of Paine field (Boeing's campus). They're the only provider at that field at this point, and are limited to primarily flights up and down the west coast.

But it's super smooth and really convenient to where I live (north Seattle) . Last time I came in from Los Angeles, I just had a carry on: it was 28 minutes from the plane door opening to my car pulling into the driveway.

That kind of convenience is worth paying for.

That's a really poorly run Popeye's if your son wasn't verbally abused and received the correct order.

    I'd complain to corporate.

If it matters, he got someone else's order and started the cascade of fucked up food that will ripple across Scotland for decades
