I tell every male that's ever worked for me..."You never, ever say anything to a woman about being pregnant even if you think it's a benign congratulations. If she's fishing for a compliment on her bun in the oven, she'll let you know. Only time you ever open your fucking mouth about a pregnancy is if you see her baby's head crowning and she screams out for help. And even then, it's very likely an elaborate social media prank."

Sitting in the media room watching a movie. Lights tuned exactly as they should be.
Wife comes in, "looking for something" and turns the lights on. Doesn't find it ("why don't you look where it's supposed to be?" /tone). Leaves room, leaves lights on.
Sigh. Pause movie and turn the lights off. Sit back down and resume film.
Daughter enters the room, turns lights on. "Oh, I didn't think anyone was in here... Have you seen my (thing wife was looking for)?"
"Nope. Your mom already looked in here. Have you looked where it's supposed to be?"
Daughter rolls eyes, leaves room, leaves lights on.
Sigh.

Yeah, he butchered the name. The major peaks in the Cascades mountains of Oregon and Washington have some weird nomenclature. You have the ones named after Royal Navy dudes ( like Rainier, Hood, Baker, St. Helens, etc.), Presidents (Jefferson and Adams), random Europeans who passed through certain areas (McLoughlin, Lassen, etc.), those named after their features (Glacier Peak, Three Sisters, Bachelor, etc.) and then the randomly named ones like Shasta. All of this completely ignores indigenous names for those peaks as well.
Dude. It's like you've never contemplated the geological significance a tasty affordable beverage.

Fun to watch Juno Temple do her Kevin McAllister impersonation in this last episode... Wonder how she'd have explained it if she'd shot Hamm's son?
The death eater storyline is really curious... Creepy as hell

Filling out forms online and it asks which country I'm from or located and United States isn't at the very top of the drop down list of options.
It's under "States, United"

Since there's no way I can compete with LawnBevo, I'll have to find a different way to impress the neighborhood soccer moms.

I ate gruel and was grateful for it.
And the only desert left was the pink salad, and I was grateful for that too.
Right.
I had to get up in the morning at ten o'clock at night, half an hour before I went to bed, drink a cup of sulphuric acid, work twenty-nine hours a day down mill, and pay mill owner for permission to come to work, and when we got home, our Dad and our mother would kill us, and dance about on our graves singing 'Hallelujah.'

She's the one who was always paired with Fred, leaving Wilma to her own devices while Shaggy and Scooby toked up. I figured that she was a freak.
Velma.
Fred and Wilma were several thousand years earlier.

The brothers always have great reactions to RATM. There's a highlight video of black people reacting to 'Down Rodeo' and every time they have to pause the clip, eyes get as big as dinner plates and say something along the lines of "What the fuck did he just say?" when Zack hits the opening lines.

Damn good movie. Watched it last night. Only thing that bugged me was I could swear Giamatti’s lazy eye kept flipping sides between scenes .

So the Grand Canyon:
Right now there is a relatively narrow river running through the bottom. But that river carved the canyon. So was the river just really wide eons ago to carve that sort of width?Yeah? How does that canyon take the width?

I've mentioned this before... My father in law worked at ODOT when this happened. The guy responsible for the 'removal' was literally the guy who was absent the day they discussed the problem.
Great place for a picnic now though... They really should have a sushi place nearby.
