Ah that makes sense. I thought you meant as far as actually catching fish. I guess that's why I've avoided those things. I've done the fishing with clients that are the people you are describing. When I'm on the water I want to be with people who know how to fish and act accordingly. I'll drink beer and all that when we get back but not interested in fishing with bobber "fishermen" on the water.

I don't fish tournaments but I assume these are still limited by the slot? That red doesn't loom that big especially since that dude looks to be about 5'2". Also what do deep pockets have to do with anything?Man, they had their kicker fish for sure. There are some hammers in that tournament, and deep pockets. -
We played him. Moved our D1 lineman from tackle to guard and Casey just threw him around like a rag doll all game. Having him and Shaun in the same district was brutal. Jammer as well.Seems like there are a couple of people on these boards who had to try to block him in HS. Or played with dudes who did or something like that. Just thinking about what an explosive athlete he was -- 6'1, 330, and still able to dunk a basketball -- makes me shudder on their behalf.-

In order to diversify the customer base and due to relative proximity to the fo fo you should install hitching posts.

When will this country ever learn that a familiar name isn't qualified and or fit to take office no matter what letter is next to said name?

Saw clerks there when it came out. Last time I was there was probably a lebowski quote along. This hurts. I loved going to see stuff there back in the day. Caught A Clockwork Orange there during one of the film festivals in the late 90s.-

Fished east bay today. It was more out of curiosity than anything because it was pretty windy for a while but ended up a pretty decent day. 3 slot reds, 1 keeper size flounder and a bunch of dink reds, trout, and flounder. Only sign of any fish kill was one 30"+ redfish washed up near the ramp.

Maybe because that's what they are called.Jaws of life sounds a lot more sexy than they had to break out the hacksaw, and sledge hammer.-

Shale boom and Katrina.Paul Prudhomme did to redfish what Ninfa's did to fajitas. I don't know exactly who did it to crawfish, but that motherfucker needs to be shot.

Nothing wrong with the bloodlines. You guys keep targeting trout. I'll keep a few of them as by catch and focus on the real fish.Don't fear, I've carried on the tradition. Such a fun fish to fight, I have no problem letting them go though. By the time you cut the blood lines out, not much there anyhow. -
Yep. Paul prudhomme made it popular in the 80s and suddenly a fish that nobody wanted to clean was in super high demand. My understanding is that's pretty much what did it. Maybe some of theoldermore well aged posters has a better recollection.-

Also the ones over the slot limit are a lot tougher and good luck cleaning them.Under sized reds are the juveniles, they are protected like the teenagers that will eat anything in sight after football practice. Slot reds are the unattached 20-somethings that are career oriented and haven't thought about settling down, and breed like Incels. Bulls (over 28") is your breeding stock. You are basically taking out the cut throats, murderers, bounty hunters, desperados, mugs, pugs, thugs, nitwits, halfwits, dimwits, vipers, snipers, con men, Indian agents, Mexican bandits, muggers, buggerers, bushwhackers, hornswogglers, horse thieves, bull dykes, train robbers, bank robbers, ass-kickers, shit-kickers and Methodists.

What, no Ralph's around there? Not so much.-

It's the corn feeder of the fishing world. Good for a meat haul but not the most sporting. Can you explain the rationale behind this? Just pretend I am aggy and take it real slow. -
Saves space but really it's because most of the year here, the attic is much hotter than the rest of the house and saves a bit on the heating cost.Nope, it's to save space, that's it. -
Except that the furnace is right next to the gas hot water heater in many cases.Cost of building. Full electric HVAC systems are cheaper than gas/electric and it's also less labor intensive to run electrical to an attic than to plumb hard gas line(s) up to a furnace.

Battery died on one of mine last night. Thank God it was on the lower hanging ones.Every smoke alarm in my house just went off. This needs to fucking end! -
I'm not saying this was all caused by wind going down. Just highlighting that those "iffy assumptions" aren't so iffy.Wind, natural gas, coal, and nuclear have all had issues in this event (It's literally in the press release from ERCOT). Trying to say wind has caused the power issues is just incorrect. It looks like Texas got caught with their pants down.

What are 4 spinning wheels going to do that 2 won't?
I don’t think you can specifically request 4wd, but you could request an UberXL or Black SUV, then send a message asking if they have 4wd. Cancel if they don’t, then try again until you find someone -
Have you seen what tickets behind the plate at dodger stadium go for these days?Larry King only left a $2m estate? I didn’t think he was worth $100m but only 2 for a long lifetime of work in entertainment and news? I guess divorces really take a lot of the money. But then again what’s the point of dying with $100m in the bank.

Depends but a few weeks isn't unheard of.
I’ve never been in a hurricane. How long is power out after an average hurricane makes land fall? -
It would under the current generation mix approach, sure. You assume that we won’t be able to add to available solar and wind, or tap offshore hydro, or even decide to step back into nuclear power. You assume that battery life and energy storage won’t take great leaps forward. Those are iffy assumptions at best.
I know this has been a very rare event but any chance to "chill" out and reflect about doubling our reliance on the grid?

Mounting TV Above Fireplace
in Can You Help Me With This?
Posted
If you must have a fireplace for those two times a year, put it in the corner. Otherwise buy the largest TV you can afford and hang it at eye level whilst sitting on the couch.
