  1. Seems like there are a couple of people on these boards who had to try to block him in HS. Or played with dudes who did or something like that. Just thinking about what an explosive athlete he was -- 6'1, 330, and still able to dunk a basketball -- makes me shudder on their behalf.
We played him. Moved our D1 lineman from tackle to guard and Casey just threw him around like a rag doll all game. Having him and Shaun in the same district was brutal. Jammer as well.

  2. When will this country ever learn that a familiar name isn't qualified and or fit to take office no matter what letter is next to said name?

  3. Under sized reds are the juveniles, they are protected like the teenagers that will eat anything in sight after football practice. Slot reds are the unattached 20-somethings that are career oriented and haven't thought about settling down, and breed like Incels. Bulls (over 28") is your breeding stock. You are basically taking out the cut throats, murderers, bounty hunters, desperados, mugs, pugs, thugs, nitwits, halfwits, dimwits, vipers, snipers, con men, Indian agents, Mexican bandits, muggers, buggerers, bushwhackers, hornswogglers, horse thieves, bull dykes, train robbers, bank robbers, ass-kickers, shit-kickers and Methodists.

Also the ones over the slot limit are a lot tougher and good luck cleaning them.
  4. Wind, natural gas, coal, and nuclear have all had issues in this event (It's literally in the press release from ERCOT). Trying to say wind has caused the power issues is just incorrect. It looks like Texas got caught with their pants down.

I'm not saying this was all caused by wind going down. Just highlighting that those "iffy assumptions" aren't so iffy.

  5. It would under the current generation mix approach, sure. You assume that we won’t be able to add to available solar and wind, or tap offshore hydro, or even decide to step back into nuclear power. You assume that battery life and energy storage won’t take great leaps forward. Those are iffy assumptions at best.

I know this has been a very rare event but any chance to "chill" out and reflect about doubling our reliance on the grid?
