  1. Shane is a former shell of his average play.  Dude looks like a walk-on.  At this point, put in Rising or Thompson because they can atleast run.  Shane will not win us this game.  This offense cannot function with him taking snaps.  Basically going to need to rely on the defense the rest of this game.

  2. Drayton was supposed to be our recruiting rain maker.  Ingram was going to come here regardless of Drayton.  We’re not getting Cain or Sanders.  Next years class is loaded with elite RBs with a once in a generation player in Evans.  Let’s see if he can close those recruitments in our favor.  If not, then he really hasn’t brought much in terms of recruiting or RB production here.

  3. he's not only unemployable, he's also un-datable.  no decent chick will want to be seen in public with him after a single google search of his name.

EJ and Roach alluded to his having serious personal issues and he is basically spiralling down in his own personal life.  dude needs to maybe just get off social media and stop being so obsessed with his alma mater's recruiting.  he needs to step away for a while and just deal with his personal shit.  I love UT and longhorn football, always have... but it's not even close to the top of all the priorities I have in my life.  I just imagine a grown man letting high school recruiting destroy his marriage and time with his kids.  Seems so fucking stupid.

  4. Rankings sometimes skew people's perceptions considering these are 17 year olds that are still growing and they are barely starting to develop as players.  Leal is college ready right now.  Is he 5 star, I don't think so, but he's got the measurables of one.  Sweat is a massive DL that is RAW.  He's a high level DL prospect that aggy was pushing for hard before he committed to us out of nowhere.  These guys are roughly the same size and both project to interior in our scheme when they finish growing.   With Graham, Wilbon, Coburn, Ojomo, Carson, Williams.... Sweat have time to RS and develop his body and technique.

Just for perspective, Chris Nelson was a 3 star recruit and Mack was a can't miss 5 star guy.  Nelson will finish with a better college career and will get drafted higher.   Recruiting ratings are hit or miss.

i know, i know, surprising right? i dont know if he is the best QB right now, but i am confident he is the best athlete of the group.

I don’t know man.  RoJo is electric with the ball in his hands when he runs.  But it’s good to have all these QBs that can run.

  6. Yup,  between Rising, Thompson, Johnson, and Card ... our QB room will finally look like one of a blue blood program.  That’s some seriously good competition.  I love it.  We have a combination of good passers who are decently athletic ( Rising and Card) and great athletes that are raw passers (Thompson and RoJo).  The best part is that they can sit back, learn this offense, and hit the weight room while Sam starts.

  7. They are about to experience the growing pains we had.  It’s been what 5-6 years since we’ve had the majority of our starters be upper classmen?  If they run off 10-15 players and are hoping to play majority freshman and sophomores, they will will suck shit so bad.  There’s a reason Herman is trying to redshirt as many freshmen.  You want grown men starting.  We saw what our highly rated 2015-2016 classes looked like when you throw them in there before they are ready.  It leads to 6 loss seasons and your coach getting fired.

Imagine being a grown up and hanging out around high schools and gossiping about the football players for a living.

Does Hamm have any real life friends or even family that likes him?  Does anyone take him seriously?  When his fb page closes and he realizes he can’t monitoze jock sniffing, no one will hire him.  Googling his name provides years of information about his instability, racism, homophobia, and delusion.  The guy needs to change his name and move to another state at this point.

  9. An 8 team playoff would be amazing.  Hell make it 12!  As a fan, why would anyone not want to see the top 8, 12, 16 teams match up.  Most people don’t even watch all the shitty bowl games.  And the money to be made off all those big matchups would be insane.  Take away an OOC game and remove the Conferance championship games as they don’t fucking matter.  Alabama didn’t even win their division last year and made the playoffs.  Why make teams play in them if you’re going to give a spot to teams for not even winning their division.  Make it 12-16 teams.  No one will give a shit about the last place team to get in as long as you get the top 8 or so teams selected correctly.

  10. Aggy will do whatever they can to keep him.  They won’t care if it’s cheating and/or breaking any rules.  They care more about perception of a big a&m commit flipping to Texas.  Why did Demas even commit so early.  He clearly has no idea where e wants to go.

There is a very good shot that there is more bad new coming for TCU, very soon.

    Coker?

edit:  just saw your 2nd post.  Maybe that WR (Kennedy?).  He apparently killed it at our camp.

    Brennan Eagles, good lord

Yup!  He’s the recruit with maybe the most potential if he can develop him from the 2018 class.  Dude has Dez Bryant like speed and size.  Remember when all the elite recruits were struggling with their 40s at the Houston regional opening bc of weather and Eagles ripped off a crazy good time.  He dominated that camp.  Clemson wanted him bad and they know a thing or two about elite WRs.

Given everything surrounding Shepherd, his potential flipping is less cause for alarm than the fact that we only have 1 other OL committed. You need numbers at every position, but the potential bust rate on the OL seems higher to me than just about any other. The staff's evals seem to be nails on the OL so far, but I'd rather increase the odds with more bodies.

I bet you we will see quite a few new offers in November after they've been able to evaluate senior year film.  Cosmi is a future all conference player and is playing like it now.  Early returns are that Christian Jones will be good if he keeps developing.  We took a crazy athletic kid in Reese Moore.  Kerstetter is a contributor.  I bet Angileu will contribute too.  I think you'll see similar offers go out to athletic big guys that can run that may need a year with Yancy.  Sam Cosmi is playing better right now that Walker Little at Stanford.  Let that soak in.  OL evaluations are so hit or miss.  Glad we have Hand as he knows what he wants.
