  1. D1 Softball has Texas at the #1 overall seed (not even the Big 12 AQ), hosting PVA&M, MSST (yes, please, they are slumping so hard to end the season) and SDSU, paired with (16) Louisiana (where Baylor is sent)

OU is #2 overall seed, hosting Oregon, and paired with #15 Alabama

    UCF is a 2 in (13) Florida's regional

A&M is the #12 overall seed, hosting both TXST and Texas Tech (2 and 3 seeds), paired with #5 LSU (the committee loves at least one SEC-SEC super regional)

OKST is the #10 overall seed, paired with #7 Georgia

Kansas is a 3 seed going to #9 overall seed Arkansas

7 bids for the Big 12 (6 for the new Big 12 - Arizona)
13 bids for the SEC (15 if you count the new SEC)

Another thing the White House needs to be pounding the drums on.

The DEA signed off on it. Exact timing is unclear, but the wheels are moving.

Think it needs a 90 day comment period once the rule is finalized by OMB, so that would put it at around September or October.

i like Gerry but this feels like spin.. they were all in on Garrison.. now they found players they are higher on at a more reasonable price?  Need to see it

Do any of them know anything? It was between OU and Texas and here comes UK?

  4. It is kind of wild how half of these transfers, no one knew they even visited.

Other than TVO putting out a top 4, it is all mostly social media clues (Phelia) or someone being seen at a baseball/softball game (Beers).

Oldacre was out of left field - I think Blair followed her back in March, and it was completely silent until she committed.

There hasn't been one single mention of a visit for Barker or Gardiner, like, at all.

  5. First big transfer for Bowman - Hubert Kos

Kos just finished up his sophomore season with Arizona State and scored 48 individual points at the 2024 NCAA Championships. Kos was 2nd in the 200 back, 3rd in the 200 IM, and 4th in the 100 back. Kos also helped the team to an NCAA title in the 400 medley relay as well as a 2nd place finish (behind Cal) in the 800 free relay.

At the 2024 Pac-12 Championships, Kos broke Ryan Murphy‘s 200 backstroke NCAA record as he swam a 1:35.69.

The infrastructure bill helps everyone, young people included. The chips bill helps everyone, young people included. Strengthening unions helps all workers, young people included. Wages for everyone are higher when unions are strong, union and non-union workers alike. Global warming is a problem that will affect young people more than it will affect me. Biden acknowledges it and is trying to address it. He’s not doing enough, but the other side denies that the problem even exists. The repeal of Roe v. Wade affects young people, not grandma and grandpa. Biden wants to codify abortion rights into law. Young women (and real men) should be turning out in droves to oppose the GOP.

What the fuck more do young people want? The next perfect president will be the first perfect president. The alternative is such a looming fucking disaster that it’s insane it’s even a question among decent, normal, educated people about whom to vote for.

    All of this.

And when they had their "perfect" presidential candidate who ran twice? They were loud as fuck on social media about him, but they didn't show up and vote for him in the primaries.

Yeah, at least that shit will stop starting this fall.

And we will get matched up with B12 schools every chance they get.

Yes, that is true.  We will see a lot of postseason matchups with teams like Tech and Baylor and TCU and UH

But also, in the stick and ball sports, the NCAA has not been afraid of SEC-SEC super matchups.  We aren't done with those, I'm afraid.  If they can make a Texas-aggy or Texas-OU super happen in baseball/softball, even after we join the SEC, they will.

Do yall think Reese has a chance to win Big 12 POY? Or do you think they give it to Jennings due to her overall career? Reese has a better batting average,  more hits and RBIs. Jennings has 1 more homerun and has scored 11 more runs. I'd love to see Reese win this award!

Reese’s issue is her Big 12 only stats don’t compare to Jennings. She slumped a bit to start Big 12 play

Jennings is 5th in hits, Reese is 12th

2x as many HRs just in Big 12 play (12 vs 6)

31 RBIs for Jennings, 27 for Reese

I think it’s Jennings’ award for sure
