  1. I like watching Republicans' Medieval times beliefs get relegated to irrelevancy. They haven't won the popular vote since 2004. A whole generation of new voters has grown up since then. I'd be mad, too.
  2. All that means is people don't like my opinions, and they have every right to scroll past my posts if they don't like them. In regard to Trump, do you really think he can win after all the baggage he has accumulated since the last election?
  3. This should be one of the better OU/OSU games in recent memory. I think it will be a who has the ball last kind of game.
  4. OSU's defense is the only thing that can really stop them from winning. They're giving up 400+ yards a game and looked very shaky against WVU and KU.
  5. At the time, it looked good. Hindsight is always 20/20.
  6. You can make a serious case that even a semi-healthy OU is the best team OSU has faced this year.
  7. They got to face KSU with Howard at QB, and not Johnson. I consider that a scrub, too. Howard is one of the worst QBs I've seen.
  8. OSU isn't some world-beater. They lost to South Alabama and Iowa State for a reason, and it's not because they're good. Their win streak has been against scrubs for the most part outside of maybe Kansas. It wouldn't shock me at all if OU beats them.
  9. The Rangers proven that they can bounce back from disappointing performances against the Astros, and I wouldn't be surprised if they did it in this series, either.
  10. This feels like when the Republicans ran Dole against Clinton in '96. Everyone knew the race was lost the minute Dole was nominated.
  11. I meant in comparison to the current Bama team, those Bama teams were far more talented and had way more NFL-caliber players.
  12. Is it not true? Go back and look at those teams' rosters. It was historic how much talent they had back then.
  13. Those mid-teens Bama teams also had Minkah Fitzpatrick, Patrick Surtain, and Quinnen Williams on defense. Their current roster is nothing like that.
  14. Jalen Milroe or Tua? Jalen Milroe or Jalen Hurts? Jalen Milroe or Mac Jones? Any of Bama's current receivers or Devonta Smith? Those mid-teens Bama teams were truly elite and basically mini NFL teams.
  15. Equivalent to the saw-em-off horns shirts they made after beating us in '06 and '07.
  16. Anyone who doesn't believe this is viewing things with burnt-orange glasses.
  17. I don't disagree with you that we're building something special, I'm just saying that we're still a year or two away from being good enough for a natty. Dillon Gabriel is terrible, but he had a great game against our defense. Any championship-caliber defense would have made his life miserable.
  18. They beat us, and that's all they really care about. Their season has been complete for a few weeks now. I wish our side would approach that game with the same intensity.
  19. Of course they would be dogs to those teams, but that's even if they beat Kansas today to stay unbeaten. Having said that, I'm not sure any of the teams you mentioned are good enough to sleepwalk while bloU is playing out of their minds and still come out with a win...especially Georgia from what I've seen this year. It seems NIL and the transfer portal have revived most of the traditional powers this season, but it's also created a bit more parity among the top programs when it comes to talent. The days of a programs like Bama stockpiling to such a degree their second string is better than most teams starters are over. We all thought that this team was elite after the Bama win, but the OU loss proved that the Bama game was fool's gold. Any elite team would annihilate OU this year, and we are simply not at that level yet. We are on our way, but no championship-caliber defense lets Dillon Gabriel carve them up.
  20. If we win out and it's between us or a one-loss Michigan or Ohio State, that OU loss will be used against us, and could very well result in us getting left out. We always have to drop that one game, and it's infuriating.
  21. I'm just saying if OU were to play any of those three teams I mentioned, OU would be a double-digit underdog to each. OU is not a great team, and we would have beat them if we were as good as we thought we were.
  22. Would Ohio State, Georgia, or Michigan lose to OU, even on their worst day and OU's best day? I think the answer is no.
  23. Us losing to this OU team proves that we're not natty-caliber just yet. If we were, we would have done what Georgia did to Florida today. We made their midget QB look like Michael Vick.
  24. If there was any other proof needed that Texas is everyone's biggest game, look at how OU has played since their game against us. The team needs to be ready these last few games to get a game-seven effort from every team. I don't think the newbies have the same level of hate towards us.
  25. OU spotted them 14 points, and they're still losing.
