  1. Sorry to hear this about your wife.  My hometown, mom (no pics) still there. I ate at Sevis’ when it was a closet size place across the river bridge on N Burnett. The little old Mexican lady would roll out the tortillas and grill them while you wait. No telling what was in that meat. Freakin awesome.  It’s only a shell of its former self. Ate at Scott’s last time I was in town, wasn’t as good as I remember.

Proposed to her a flight serviced by a 747 so we can sit at the nose.

"No, no way, if it crashes we're dying first"

Uh....if an airplane crashes, everybody's fucking dying.

Row 67 of coach is good too.

This is another thing I like about Tom Herman. He isn't loyal to a fault and he will address needs.

    • Brought in Herb Hand
    • Brought in Anderson at Left Tackle
    • Brought in Tre Watkins

He may be loyal to a fault with Tim Beck.  Just sayin.

Assuming the knee is fully healed, I can see why our staff wanted him. I’m not concerned about our backs from 2019 forward, as I believe we’re rapidly upgrading in that area (as well as on the OL). But for 2019, Watson will be an upgrade from Day 1, based on what he’s done...and what our other guys haven’t.

Maybe I don't understand, but Watson is a one year rental for 2018, correct?  Don't misunderstand though, I like the addition to the RB room.

  5. My dad lived ther in the 60’s. His roomate got in a fight in the hallway with Whitman at some point. That dude was unhinged from the word go.

My dad took me there when we were looking at dorms in 1983, about 8:30 am on a Saturday.  The desk guy took us to see a room, and had to wake some hungover guy up, and the room was absolutely wrecked.  It didn’t appeal to me and we crossed it off the list.

Between being slow, often injured, having a bad attitude and playing out of position I really cannot see what the reluctance is.

Car Wash?  Jiffy Lube?  Sound career choices here.

  7. Still no Chris Warren III sightings I guess.  Dude had burned his bridges at Texas (or failed all his classes) and took the only path open to him, and now what?

The hawks are no joke - there’s a bunch of them nesting in the ‘hood. Maybe they’ll take care of the squirrels. One caught a starling in my yard and ate part of it while I watched.

Napkins and simple condiments in a lot of places where you can't even grab a pouch of ketchup without special behind-the-counter supervision.

I was at Whataburger the other day, needed a napkin but the dispenser was empty.  Sitting at a table right next to the condiments counter was a 350 lb woman eating her burgers with a 1-1/2” tall stack of napkins on her tray.

Dadgum - I had that thing!  Don't even remember what it did - a number guessing game maybe?

It played a bunch of games - Tic-Tac-Toe, a ripoff of mastermind, a version of Simon, and even a weird blackjack.  Or you could just push the buttons in the backseat and annoy your patents while they drove.

Along the same lines, I also had this thing:
