Pretty sure that's the HR Pufnstuf ship.

So is Bond a 1- year rental? What's his remaining eligibility? Size-wise seems similar to X Worthy.

Jester has a certain early 60's Soviet architecture vibe (and smell) also.

DeBoer has had himself a week.

Sark seems to follow and embody the Saban leadership and accountability style which is great for our program. That’s a great foundation. Lets pay that man.

If you watch his interview it seems that at 3:55pm he said fuck it I am done and told folks at 4:00 pm.
Baller move. If anyone ever deserved to pull that, it's Saban. I'm sure it wasn't the first time it had been discussed at the AD level. There was probably an understood "let me know when it's time, and we'll be ready" from Greg Byrne.

Mt Rainier popped out for a minute on the ride over to Bainbridge FWIW.

I’m retired on Bainbridge Is. Love it. Loved Houston, too. Easy to please, I guess.
Visited Bainbridge back in late September. Beautiful place. It was raining.

You think he actually walked out of a meeting in the morning, and into the AD's office after his lunch break and said F-it, I'm done?

All these cheeky quips about missing bolts are funny and all, but I’m really interested to hear the root cause failure in this deal. Like mentioned above, the plugs are a commonly installed item and it’s not likely that the design has changed in decades so it’s unlikely a design flaw. Properly torqued bolts at 100 ft-lbs and improperly torqued bolts at 85 ft-lbs you likely won’t have any issues either, even though the under torqued bolts are “loose”. So back to assembly procedures and oversight by someone, company/contractor division of responsibility, etc.
If my subcontractor screws something up in my product it’s still my fault for lack of oversight.

There was an old saying on one of the bike forums: "If you NEED carbon wheels, someone will give them to you."

From a practical standpoint can Alaska Airlines bolt in a new door and put that hull back in service?

Give me odds on Urban. Dude is "only" 59. He got fired for being an ass-fingering loser at his NFL gig, but has won at all 4 cfb stops. If he could pull it off at Bama, he'd remove the losing stench from his last gig. Plus he's gotta be sick of listening to his cunt wife nag all day long. That broadcasting gig only provides cover during the fall.
You mean spinnershells or whatever tf?

Alright, Texas is 2-2 against the GOAT. How’s the Ags’ record? OU’s?
When was the 2nd win? Wasn't Bama I don't believe.

Shocking, I know:

I just have a feeling that this whole program will never quite happen.

Do you have inside knowledge of this? That’s a weird judgement to make otherwise.Anybody that was inside the building potentially has some ear issues, as the pressure wave from the explosion would have been pretty large.

I LOL'd when I opened the Food & Travel page, and saw the thread title at the top of the list. Wrong, I know.

Zappos IMO. Free returns. The last pair of shoes I bought where I actually went to the store was Red Wing hunting boots.

6 SEC.

These days, I buy shoes, try them on, and return them if they don't fit, I don't like them, etc. There's no such thing as a shoe store anymore, other than Academy or the like.

There are practical aspects to all the road cycling specific clothing items that once you’ve ridden a good distance over several hours, you will really appreciate those qualities, and you won’t go without after that. And you’ll get over the self consciousness feeling quickly. 90% of amateur road cyclists don’t have a perfectly trim shape like the pros. Nobody cares.
