Negative Recruiting Your Own School: The aggy Screenshot Megathread
To be clear, are you asking for a logical reason that the Aggies are doing something?

This is who Steve Sarkisian is.
Yes, this was the main concern before the game and played out pretty much exactly as expected. Washington has a sixth year QB and 3 veteran WRs all of whom are ready to play in the NFL right now. Taafe, who has produced better than you should expect for a walk on, and Thompson will be working in cubicles. We were a very good team this year but there's still work to do to raise the talent level of the roster - next year should be better in that regard.

General Patton once said "Give me 75 scholarship players from sip and I will win a battle. Give me 55 good 3-star Ags from the Houston suburbs and I will win the Texas Bowl."

Texas Recruiting Notes 2024: Bags Don't Beat Bankrolls
Might not be great for development, but holding the Aggies hostage before signing and then repeating one or two times before transferring has been very profitable for their players. I'd like for Texas to sign this kid, but fleecing these morons for all they're worth is something I can respect. I guess it's sort of worked out for the Aggies in the case of Bryce Anderson, but you'd think after their experience with Nolen and "E-Stew" they'd learn their lesson. Whole program reeks of desperation.

Pretty clearly the former. Monitor the quantity/success of WR/DB transfers. Most top teams have a few transfers at those positions that play significant roles and are on draft boards. I'm not sure any of the top ~20 OL draft prospects this year are transfers. The two recent transfers that really stick out on the OL/DL are Olu Olawutimi and Jared Verse - I can think of numerous WRs/DBs off the top of my head.

Oklahoma Recruiting 2024: Sunken Eyes and Licking Lips
Almost 15k yards and 125 TDs isn't quantifiable? I understand that Arnold is the more physically talented player but I'm hearing this from all the OU fans in my life. Gabriel is a high-end college quarterback who has years of strong production. I do agree that Venables made the right call, but I think it's far from a guarantee that he comes in better than Gabriel next year and certainly don't think he's superior in every way.

Aggy 2024: Still waiting on the Looch 44
I honestly think they'd be in a better position if they just consulted ChatGPT for each of these decisions.

First of all, I want the players that give us the best chance of winning. So, if there are players in the portal like AD Mitchell who are going to produce better than Niblett or Moore, I want them. Second, many players, like Niblett, may benefit from an extra year of practice and S&C and don't need significant playing time as true SOs.

Dealyn Evans' hold on a top 2 spot in the Looch 44 is very precarious right now. He should tread lightly.

Honorable mention all-conference G5 player? The Elk would like a word!

And a lazy imbecile. ESPN literally quoted MM saying that Sark gave him the option to stay and that it was his decision.

SIAP, but what absolute drivel from that fat slob Ari Wasserman. He has to be one of the least talented national reporters and that is no small feat.

Amazing how Looch and Braun immediately transition their gaslighting from "You plebs don't understand, Jimbo has it under control it was always Plan 2024" to "Jimbo left this program in shambles." The funny thing is, if they'd retained Jimbo and all these players, they might have been somewhat decent next year with their cakewalk schedule.

I noticed in The Athletic's transfer portal article they noted that, although Nolen and Jardin announced their intention to transfer, A&M has not entered either player in the portal. Do any of our portal experts know if this something that the schools can hold up unilaterally? It strikes me as extremely Aggie to refuse to do so in an attempt to strongarm players in to coming back.

Implicit in all their complaints about dealing with sip t-shirt fans is the fact that none of them run into Texas alumni at their insurance sales jobs in Conroe.

On top of that, he put the work in to become an elite special teams player and will likely earn a few NFL paychecks. Indicative of the culture Sark has built and pretty fitting he was basically the first guy Sark brought in.

ACC Championship - #14 Louisville vs #4 FSU - 7pm on ABC
Jeff Brohm will find a way to put up points on the board, that guy is a very good in game coach. If it really is a true freshman making his first start, I'm kind of surprised FSU is still the favorite although Vegas knows best.

This is an interesting departure from Jimbo's strategy. Could definitely see things working out for them if they get the best player in the country at every position.

The pick sixes were incomprehensible. Completely tanked any chance of beating Utah or Oregon St. He got absolutely killed by play calling and CK's years-long disregard of HS O-line recruiting, but showed next to nothing against P5 opponents. To the point where I don't really expect him to succeed at his next team.

Cain got hit with a lot of DNP - Slow and Bad. He's fine as deep depth but should absolutely be recruited over in the portal.

Was there ever any insight as to what he did? Kind of impressed he's willing to stick it out/appears to be taking the right steps. It would be great to have him back, think he could be a real player with another year in the S&C program.

Sips get so lucky playing Michigan with all of their seniors gone meanwhile poor ol Ags have to play the McNeese Cowboys who return EVERYONE!
