  1. Also Phil didn't just choose the bulls he built the bulls too, he did choose the Lakers but who wouldn't want to coach shaq and kobe in the early 00's?

Also, I love the mav and spurs haters that pick warriors in 5, they clearly haven't watched the rockets this season to think we will lose in 5. love the tears from two franchises that are about to wander the desert of shit teams.

  2. Houston can play and win when not shooting the 3 ball well with CP3 hitting the mid range and our defense has massively improved(when we try).

It's going to be a tough series, i'm gonna need to see us actually win the series before I believe. Been burnt by Houston sports wayyyy to many times and Astros breakiung through made me a believer again and now the Rockets will have to do the same. I think warriors in 7 just because of all the experience they have on the floor.

Your opinion is absurd. I'd put him 4th best player to play for the Lakers behind Mikan, Wilt, Kareem, and Magic, but you could make a case for putting him behind Shaq and Jerry West as well. Putting him ahead of Lebron seems absurd.

ok your opinion and you can have it.

  4. Warriors in 7. Rockets will have to prove it to me on the flor for me to predict a series win.

but lol at warriors in 5 with the rockets barely stealing a game. You always know who the haters are as they are easy to spot.

Rockets aren’t close to who they were last year and that’s easy to notice, defense is way better, cappella is a different player, cp3, tucker and moute are all better than anything we have had.

mentally we will see how they respond but this won’t be a 4-1 breeze for either team lullzzz.

Lock the thread. If you're arguing against someone who thinks Kobe was better than LBJ, you're wasting your time.

It's hard to win an argument against a smart person. It's impossible to win an argument against a stupid person.

Lol I love when people come on here and self

proclaim how they are the smartest most rational and know it all posters about a subject that’s opinion based only. So your opinion trumps all? For the record I haven’t been calling anyone names as I stated my case, I said it’s my opinion only, you and big orange are the ones that swooped in calling names like 12 year olds.

  6. Ok your opinion. To play for my team in a 7 game series in the nba finals I would want mj all day.

So you wouldnt want a guy thats won 5/6 nba titles? What do you want then? Just stats? I never said lebron wasn’t great, there’s just more to basketball to me than physical athletic ability.

Yes Kareem would dominate today, and in the 90’s, as well as any other era ever. He’s a transcendent player.

Lol no. That sky hook would not work today. And shaq would have ate his lunch and Kareem is slow. He dominated back then. He would in now way dominate now. Magic was a transcendent player and that’s easy to see.

But this has has nothing to do with my point. I said I would take mj over Kenton and I slipped in Kobe and that’s what everyone focused on. So you would take lebron over mj?

Holy shit. Just wow. This is some next level buffoonery.

Lol. You think Kareem would dominate today? And in the nba finals for a 7 game series you would take Kareem over Kobe? Lol. Well I would expect it from you, you said on the shag that being great in the ncaa tourney isn’t the end all be all measuring stick so I should expect it from you. And your butt buddy big orange weenie needed you to come back him up? I see that a lot woth you two love birds. Who gets to play the man when you two bang? Take turns or no?

    Talent wise, yep.

The only reason Bron Bron isn't the undisputable goat is because of the mental toughness aspect. Talent wise, no one can touch him(it hurts by heart to say that). The dude is just an unstoppable force, when he wants to be. But, there have been times when he layed down on the court.

You are clearly an idiot!!! Big orange weenie knows everything about basketball and if you pick someone he doesn’t you are clearly an idiot!

only an idiot would take kobe over lebron.

I know no one can be as wise as you. Thanks for bringing all that wisdom to the table. You can take 3-5 in the nba finals lebron all you want. I’ll take mj and Kobe. Then after my team wins you can talk about how great lebron is because he beat Toronto in the worse conference in nba history.

    Wow. Kobe over Lebron? Interesting.

I'd take Bron, MJ, Duncan, Hakeem, Bird, Kareem, Magic, Shaq all over Kobe. Probably a couple others too. Crazy that as good as his career was, he wasn't even the best Laker of all time.

What makes magic or Kareem better? Kareem played in a different era, not sure how effective he would be today or even in the 90’s as centers got even better and the game changed. I’m looking at killer instinct on the big stage not just numbers.

Is winning titles the only factor in your determination of who is better?

Lol for me yes? What else are they playing for? Do I think lebron is the most physically opposing athlete to ever play basketball? Yes by far. But in a 7 game series in the finals I’ve seen him slink away, mj especially rose to another level and took over. When it mattered most.

  13. 11 minutes ago, d2o said:

Uh 2 dynasties.   GSW is better than any team MJ played in the finals.

Wait a minute.   You have Kobe #2 all time??????????

Personally for me yes I would take Kobe over lebron.

We are talking about titles and who i want to I want to lead my team in the Finals for 7 games. Mj always first then kobe for me. Lebron would be my third choice.

Is Ibaka still with Keri Hilson? That'd be my pick.

And for the very few ppl pumping up Kobe and also shitting on LeBron for the 2011 finals loss for LeBron -- this is a reminder that Dallas swept the Lakers and won game 4 by like fucking 40 pts

Pumping up kobe? I said I would take MJ and Kobe over LeBron. So have Lebron 3rd? big deal. the gap isn't that great, in the Finals leading my team into a 7 game series I would choose MJ and Kobe. Not 3-5 Lebron. Some of you are acting like he faced the greatest teams of all time in the finals. haha.

  15. 52 minutes ago, Vic Mackey said:

Kobe? Lmao. When Shaq left, his teams were garbage. He got so frustrated he demanded to be traded. 1st round losses or not even making the playoffs. Gasol came and saved his career as Lebron saved Wade's career and got them a few extra rings. Let me know if Lebron has such a shitty ending to his career as Kobe did as well. Kobe isn't even close to Lebron.

Gasol saved his career? LOL. That's just a dumb take. Lebron is top 3 for me, I would take MJ and Kobe over Lebron and mainly because they played with Coaches and were coachable, they didn't have a merry go round of yes men that did what Lebron said. Again I think Lebron is an amazing athlete and owning Toronto I guess is great? but when he is 3-6 after these finals i'm noit sure how anyone would place him as the greatest ever because I hear a shit ton of excuses on how hes had such a harder road than other stars? He's playing in the easiest conference probably in the history of the NBA, MJ and Kobe went through tougher opponents in conference before playing ion the Finals themselves.

  16. 3 hours ago, d2o said:

Hmmmmmm............so he wasn't great against GSW?

He's also beaten teams that he wasn't supposed to.   I think beating a 73 win team trumps all the others.

Isn’t winning the title trumps all? He’s 3-5 about to be 3-6? No one is saying he isn’t good. He’s not the greatest. I would take mj or Kobe over lebron all day. When it mattered most mj won and he beat teams equal to who lebron lost too. It’s not like the spurs were a super team when they beat them. But being the greatest means you are the greatest that overcomes stuff and wins.

  17. 4 minutes ago, Orca of Peace said:

so he will go to the west to be beaten by same? or join Houston?

I have no idea but he won't win in Cleveland. The East blows outside of a fully healthy Boston and all these "King" moments are against shit teams.

LeBron is 3-5 in the NBA Finals. I mean I guess owning Toronto is great and all but he has lost to teams that he shouldn't have lost too in the Finals.

If he loses again and I expect it to happen he will be 3-6 coming out of the East so why not try and join a west team to get it done? If he stays how much roster turnover could Cleveland even do? again?

  18. All of lebrons greatness they show on ESPN is against shitty eastern conference teams. He won’t stay in Cleveland when he gets beat again in the Finals by GS or Houston.
