  1. None. As I said, I’m unconcerned about this. I laugh at the Cruz commercials and wonder who they actually draw offsides. I like that Texas has taken a Lia Thomas situation off the table, limited as that may be to this state and location of competition in collegiate postseasons, and the sheer (lack of) volume of Lia Thomas type incidents. Period. I’m just not gonna opine on abortion. I’ll just say I’m pro choice.
  2. Correct. Do you not see Dahobbs and Beau Vine and Nivek and many others immediately take my comment and turn it into an abortion rant?
  3. As I’ve said countless times, the comment was limited to the topic at hand and the topic many were piling on about that was never intended to be discussed - my opinion would likely surprise. No on electoral college. Absolutely I do support significant limitations.
  4. She plays on a travel team all over the country. My daughters are very long and fast and springy. Appreciate your presumptions. You should type longer posts.
  5. Roddy Ho reminds of what a British Asian ztejas would be like.
  6. Not what I said. I’ll repeat, I’m glad my family lives in Texas. I suspect people would be surprised on my opinion on the topic you and the 5 people who negged me so desperately want to discuss, but I’m not gonna go there. Yes, this was a provocative CR thread at the outset, but yall insist on making it more so.
  7. NCAA has been a bastion of idiocy long before the NIL era. They may not be toothless in this particular issue as it stands today, but if they don’t get it right, they’ll see how fleeting their power is.
  8. Because the very strong narrative on Israel is they don’t exercise restraint, particularly in the last year. Iran fucked up, incredibly. What they did makes zero sense. This was different than April’s drone show, and I expect some sort of Israeli response after sundown Friday.
  9. No, where did I say that? I think common sense ought to prevail with the UIL and NCAA
  10. I got a full ride to University of Niagara Falls where I could’ve been with my girlfriend.
  11. I hear the senate race ads. It’s a political issue because Lia Thomas does happen, and it’s viewed as wokeness run amok. Leaving rule making to an utterly toothless organization like the NCAA is dangerous, and I am pretty certain in instances like Thomas (not a great number I would imagine), it’s not a vocal minority. It’s the majority, at the very least, and probably vast majority. Having said that, as I said, it’s not an issue I get wound up about. And absolutely there are bigger fish to fry.
  12. My 14 yo son’s club team would give them a run for their money. We have a kid now who’s of Griner height. Once those boys get to varsity? It’d be no contest.
  13. Okay, I’ll answer. I don’t have a concern because I live in a state that shuts it down. That’s the obvious part. If I lived in say, California, I still wouldn’t be that concerned because it’s not something that would likely come up in their careers, and you can burn a lot of energy on such issues. If they did compete against a bio boy, its likely one that hasn’t fully transitioned and yes I’d have an issue with it. My oldest daughter is a dancer and runs varsity track (100 and 200). My youngest has no interest in dance or cheer and plays volleyball, hoops, lax and runs track. Yes, they could participate collegiate, particularly the younger one.
  14. My team averaged 6’4” across the board. We had 2 D-1 players and a lot more than could’ve played D2 (some did; I chose not to). Two Longhorns and one NBA player. We lost in the second round of playoffs. His comment was ridiculous. We’d take any WNBA team.
  15. Is it not obvious in the two posts you linked? Are you that confused in this thread?
  16. I have no concern for my daughters in this matter. I made that clear in my first post. You’re really confused. Upon reflection, this could be some state-level grandstanding. I don’t know, and as it doesn’t concern me or my daughters, I’m gonna bow out.
  17. I’ve got two female athletes. I’m not outraged by this.
  18. On biological men competing in women’s sports?
  19. No, spending like 30 days over $90 is over $90. I’m done with this discussion. You’re about to be Stassney’ed.
  20. I’m not at all persecuted. I responded to an article posted by another. In this regard, it does. That is all I’m commenting on. You and Dahobbs are working really hard to shift this. I’m happy to hear you mention that on Lia and would be interested in your thoughts overall on what to do.
  21. Staying on topic, it’s a total win for them, and I’m not demonizing anyone.
  22. I don’t really, because such a situation will never affect my athlete daughters, but to suggest it’s not newsworthy is definitely a take. Having a poster, without any comment, neg my opinion that 90%+ of the country agrees with, is indicative of a Cunts Run Amok board.
