It's been brought up a few times in here, but Schiano wouldn't have been a fit at Tennessee. He's improving Rutgers because HS coaches in NJ and SE PA love him. He's immediately improved the defense and special teams units, but the offense has a long way to go. A bowl game this year would suffice.

I’d take Ole Miss. Miami is utter dog shit, which means Bama won its only real game so far by 2 points against a Florida team with questionable QB play. Ole Miss has one of the best offenses in the country and will score on Bama. I’d still expect Bama to win, but in a competitive track meet.
I would expect us to cover against TCU, but Tech is awful and in recent years TCU usually struggles with SMU and then gets up to play us. So, we will see. It’s probably not as cut and dried as this week’s games would suggest.
I'd also take Ole Miss to cover, but Emory Jones is a good college QB. He doesn't have an NFL arm, but his skillset fits perfectly in Mullen's offense. Stopping UF on the ground is incredibly tough, and UGA might be the only team who can do so this year.

There's always a chance Mullen and Billy Gonzalez don't close, but they're ahead by a good margin rn. Andre Coleman is in over his head, especially in recruitments like this.

I’m not shocked by any recruiting moves. He did commit here.
Again that's fair. I should've phrased it by saying the board as a whole will be shocked (assuming he keeps things quiet)

I don't think any Texas message board would be surprised in the slightest if that happened
That's fair. You know everyone will frame it as no big deal, but he can really play. Tucker is slowly but surely building that program back from Dantonio's ashes

You shouldn't be shocked when Winfield flips to Sparty either.

Thanks for your input. What else you going to pull out of your ass?
He almost committed there back in July. Don't be shocked when it happens

Stewart has loved UF and Gainesville for a while. I'd say it's probably 80% UF, 10% Bama, 5% Texas, 5% LSU rn.
-
While everyone focuses on Mullen juggling the QBs, UF's biggest issue is still their defense. The Tide will win by 21+

Brownlow-Dindy just Fong'd to OU.

OU and tOSU are the two best jobs in the sport. Guys who are head coaches or go on to become head coaches don't give a shit about restaurants, entertainment, etc. The only ones who really care about that are the career assistants.

I’ve been dragging my feet on getting ESPN+. I’ve always preferred FPI to SP+, but they’re probably interchangeable.

He’d be a good fit at Pitt or BC if they decide to move on. Schiano seems to have a blank check at Rutgers, as he should.
Yeah Greg will be in Piscataway for as long as he wants, just like his last tenure.

@Sbbruin Congrats man. The Visor has that run game running like his days in Eugene

Chip Kelly is going to make the LSU LBers diagnose all kinds of eye candy. If they're disciplined, LSU should have minimal issues tonight. If not, they'll probably lose. I really think it's that simple

What they're doing is beating Tennessee next week. Their secondary is going to give Milton nightmares

I see many of you haven't had UCF fans inflict themselves on your nights out at the sports bar/social gathering/funeral. Broncos by 50 please.
Yeah fuck that fan base

The Pac 12 south will be very interesting to watch this year. I'll take either UCLA or Utah to win it this season. Orlando and a drop in talent on the o line will doom USC, and I think Jayden Daniels at ASU turns it over too many times this season for them to win it.

If I were an Auburn fan, I would've given up the moment he hired Bobo as OC. That offense has an experienced line and a good RB in Bigsby, but Nix and the receivers will make it easy to stop for most of the defenses on their schedule.
-
He was always going to start. I'm interested in where McCord ends up because he's really damn good as well. Ewers, McCord, and Drake Maye have the best arms of any of the '21 QBs, but Dart and Ty Thompson among others are really damn good as well. That class is going to be incredible, that's for sure.

We're not running the ball 66% of the time - that's just ridiculous. There will be a lot of play action and the TE's are going to be a huge part of the offense - but I don't care how many WR's we lose - we're not turning into Wisconsin.
Ironically Wisconsin is going to pass a lot this year because of how badly their previous RBs coach whiffed in recruiting in the '18 and '19 cycles.

Yes I agree that he'd be better than Pruitt and Heupel. The rest of the schedule presents some challenges, but I think 6-6 is very attainable, assuming most of the key contributors remain healthy. It's definitely a great time to be a Rutgers fan and a win against Ohio St on Saturday would accelerate the rebuild for sure.
