I think the price of uranium has bottomed in the 80s and we’ll see $120 an ounce before the end of the year.

I took my gains in 4U off the table.  I just don’t see their price tracking well enough  with uranium to stick with it.

I am awaiting a decent entry point in GERN, but holding IBRX for now.

I saw a Cybertruck done up in the black wrap-around wrapper stuff out by Brenham, and it made the Cybertruck look even shittier. Wrapping your whole vehicle in truck bed-liner…well, you already made one bad decision buying the Tesla, so might as well go all in.

There is nothing that can make that piece of shit look better.  We saw one rolling through Pebble Beach and everyone was pointing and laughing at it.  It looks like a kit car to be honest.

    Gern trading at 3.15 AH

I bailed on most of my position at 3.25.  When they do an additional offering at 3 bucks that 75 percent profit looks good to me.  I’ll be back looking for another one but I learned my lesson on getting greedy with some of these.

Once America’s Hottest Housing Market, Austin Is Running in Reverse

I may not have the best timing in a lot of things but seeing my house in May 2022 may be my luckiest timing ever.  I think the guy who bought it is 20 percent underwater right now.  I just had a feeling of “no fucking way is this market real now” , and we got multiple bids way over asking.  Just stupid.

    Nah.

Exactly.  9 figure?  That’s fucking stupid.  I’m a little under a hundred million net worth and it’s fine in my  1500 square foot shack with homeless people popping fentanyl outside.

Bbq is the big difference. Duh.  I give California the edge on Asian and seafood but not big enough to overcome no bbq.  There’s some great Mexican food here but I miss greasy enchiladas

Central coast here and the biggest difference is the fruits and vegetables, besides the obvious seafood.  Monterey county produces so much that we have an abundance of excellent fruit year round, and all year is growing season for leafy vegetables.  The Mexican food doesn’t touch Texas, and despite the Crossroads Barbecue in Carmel being pretty good, beef here is not even close to Texas standard.  I’ll take the trade.

Regarding the Texodus, the people I know who have moved have all done it to trade up in housing and down in cost.  And not because they were well off, mostly because of cost.  The ones who can afford it aren’t leaving because it’s fucking paradise here.  Texas is still relatively cheap, although every time I come back to visit I notice food and restaurant prices are starting to close the gap to Cali.  Hotel, car rental, gas, and housing still not in the same universe.

  7. Yeah that’s past time.  The funny thing right now is my counterpart in the office (I am full time remote) had to ask people to stay home if they’re sick because they are spreading their germs like crazy.  Fucking lesson not learned.

Take your gotdam allergic ass home.
