Yop. If Miami's receivers actually had fingers they would look decent.

He's more like Peyton Manning athletically, except that he has concrete for shoes.

Just scored a ticket so I will definitely come hang out before kickoff. Had a great time at the Tech game last year, and I will be wearing my burnt ends shirt.

I work downtown by the Chili Parlor, there's a bunch of cousin fuckers all around the area today.

So, first time posting in CR. My wife just started her 10th year as a teacher here in Austin. We are both in our early 30's and are wanting to start a family of our own. She has made the decision that this is her last year as a teacher. She cannot do it anymore, she can't teach because she is too busy with classroom management, she can't work on lessons plans properly because she has to spend her planning period doing other tasks such as reaching out to parents or meeting with school admins, the lesson plans she does make have to meet a certain criteria and be approved by her admin as well. She spends the last few weeks of her month and a half off in the summer depressed and anxious about going back to work, nevermind the fact that during her time off she has to do trainings and in-services. She doesn't have the energy to enjoy her personal life, and we have had to put off starting our family because mentally and emotionally she wouldn't be able to handle it.
My mom passed away in March, she was a teacher as well, and even while she was in the hospital she was stressing about lesson plans and the requirements she was missing out on while hospitalized. I'm not saying being a teacher killed her, but her stress and anxiety I'm sure played a part in her early death at age 60.
It sucks that this nation and this state have done this to our public education, I am against private schools and charter schools. I grew up in rural south texas and loved my time in school, but Jesus I am terrified for the day that my future children will have to enroll.

Is this kid actually good?
Can't be any worse than the Joshua Moore's of the world.

Can confirm @Nicole44is good people, we got to hang out at the Tech game.

I'm already prepared for him to go elsewhere, we don't get nice things like this. One way or the other this kid feels like he has a very high bust potential just because mentally he doesn't seem like a "team" guy. But fuck it, doesn't seem like Sarks scheme is very difficult, just that the current guys don't have the physical skills needed and he does.

Roschon to LB? WTF, he is likely to make a NFL roster as a RB, why move him to LB?
I honestly had the thought that they should move him there at the end of last season. He has a really good build for the position and is a very smart player, he may not have the athleticism that Overshown has but I'd take that over a LB that just guesses every play.

Can't wait to reap the results of this. I'm glad we have out burnt ends and bad motherfucker initiative, but I am a poor and it's real good to see the people with fuck you money throwing their weight into things.

Oh wow, I am so surprised! I can't believe no-one saw this coming.

I am truly going to miss watching him play about as much as he misses tackles.
-
Is Slovis any good? I only remember watching I think 1 game of his and he seemed pretty meh to me.

I really hope that whatever this supposed big NIL new was comes out soon, no better time to strike than now with the uncertainty at OU and LSU.

just a reminder i told all of you we would lose to ole miss in august. thank you for your concern.
I think we'd have been happier if you warned us that we were going to lose to Kansas, that way we could have eased ourselves into the idea of it rather than experience the rage in real time.

You don't even pay into burnt ends and talk about NIL like a child. He's not picking on you it's just naive and a waste of time to follow through on.
I have a legitimate way to pay players, have the contacts to make it happen quickly and have the infrastructure to provide an easy way for people to get involved, yet all I'm getting is troll posts and a bunch of bullshit in a thread that I made about it. The problem with NIL is everyone wants to talk a big game, and no one actually wants to be the PAYING the players. I put 70k of my own money on the line to get it going and it's honestly the only reason that Texas is relevant in any NIL conversations right now, not just in public but at an internal AD level.
Show up with some cash and I will fucking walk you in the door to get it to the player of your choosing. Until then shut the fuck up and stop trying to act like you know what's up on a message board.
There are some sites out there that actually do have good contributors that do the diligent work it takes to pump out a real story. I don't advocate for people not subscribing to content they think is worth the money. If you pay those places for "scoop" fuck right off though. There is 0 scoop on any of these sites.
I'm a poor and wish I could do more, but I will continue to pay into the burnt ends program because it is the one thing I am capable of doing in terms of providing $$ to players directly.

I think the biggest difference as it pertains to the remainder of the season is that this game fully displayed this team's weakness. This game put a lot on film that other teams will be able to use.
Going into the season, my expectations was a 2 to 3 loss regular season with us in contention for the CCG, and that expectation is still in play for us.
My current hope for this season is to win out the remainder of the season, beat OUsux or whoever in the CCG, then play in a new years 6 game and come out with a win there.
I think everyone would agree that an 12-2 to a 10-4 record would be an accomplishment for this roster.
We know going into this season that this was a roster that just didn't know how to win close games.
This season's primary goal is to generate excitement and an identity that the staff can recruit with, so that in 2 or 3 years we will have the roster makeup that allows to contend for the playoffs.
Also, OU sucks!

They also think that they are the premier program in the state, so what they think means shit.
