I know it's not the preferred nomenclature these days.  And I don't mean it as a reference or derogation of any person's sexual preferences.

    But that dude's a fag.

    This immediately came to mind.

  2. In on Dad thread for a second time here in about 7 weeks with baby girl no. 2 joining the fray.

I'm already wrapped around the finger of girl no. 1, so girl no. 2 pretty much means I've said to hell with retiring.

  3. Can someone take me to school on the reason you're fasting?  or wtf keto is?  Finally hit my mid 30's year and can't lift like I used to.  My joints are really starting to feel it.

I'm still in good shape, but want to keep up with it for maintenance reasons.  Have two kids and heart conditions run in the family so I try to take care of myself for their sake.

  4. Drives to work longer than 20 minutes.  If it's longer than 20 minutes, I sprint into the office because I'm prairie dogging so hard that I almost shit in my car.  Totally ruins the mystique of the morning poop.

I didnt post in the thread on shag, not sure why but glad to see this here.

I was looking forward to GGG's rematch. I felt he clearly won the first time and was wanting him to get revenge

Everyone that watched that fight thought he won.  Except the judges that is.

    Tarp

    I underlined some fun parts

"So far, Santino Marchiol has stayed healthy and on the field; as a result, he is using his increased size and ability to square up to really ring people up."

So basically he's bigger and you're if you're standing still so he doesn't have to chase you, he'll attempt to knock the piss out of you.

Was Tarp watching Marchiol hit a tackling dummy?

Lately I've been frequently ordering Malbec's at restaurants and it's been a pretty good bang for your buck when you are already overpaying for wine.  Particularly with steak as a "good" cab is both too damn expensive and depending on the size of the quality of the wine list most likely too young to drink anyways.  I need to start paying better attention to what I've ordered but anyone have any "go to's" I could pick up at Specs/Total wine?

Malbec's pretty much all taste the same to me.  Try the bordeaux or red blends the next time you're having steak.  They'll usually have some decent bordeaux (chateau counsillier etc) for decent prices because everyone seems to assume you have to order cab to eat red meat.

Cain and Sanders are roommates at IMG, and are obviously close. Cain has said before he'd be interested in playing with Sanders at the next level.

With the amount of punishment RB's take, why would you want to be the only RB take?

I’ve never heard anyone describe the tax code as fair so I’m not sure why you’d expect them to start now.

I also don’t know why your taxes were affected by $8000 when the tax credit for a Sonata Plug-in Hybrid is only $4919. (I’m assuming you bought the plug-in hybrid as regular hybrids stopped carrying a tax credit in 2010.)

Maybe he itemized the $2500 sales tax and fat fingered an extra 0?

  10. The most disturbing thing about the K's is who's doing it. Happ, Contreras, Rizzo, Baez, Bryant, Heyward, are all striking out =< 20% of their at bats.

Ian Happ has struck out in 10 of 16.  Holy. Fucking. Shit.

  11. I can't be the only person thinking this....

"1:30 PM - I begin the walk to the Alamodome, somehow managing to stuff the "Traveler" and 11 cans of beer into my pants."

How the hell did you manage this? Obviously cargo pants right?

We go with Meiomi Pinot Noir. HEB has it at usually $17-18. That’s our go to, but really like Cakebread Cab on special nights out.

The Sonoma County Le Crema is not bad for the price.  2015 is usually around the same price as Meiomi.  Cloudbreak is really nice as well.

For the 2020 thread, but Card played darned well against a good, veteran Allen defense. Especially considering the fact that he pressed into emergency duty, and didn't get many reps at QB in the week leading up to the state title game.

It's early, but I think the 2019 QBs are better than 2020 class. Roschon is a special talent. Gunnell can play. McIvor and Zeno are good enough to be QB1 in Texas' 2019 class. If either were willing to be the second QB in the class, Texas should jump all over that and just take one QB in 2020.

For the Candi getting busted thread, but I have no idea why Jimbo isn't recruiting Zeno and McIvor.

    REAL. RECRUITING.

    Is it natural wine?

It is.  Mostly Tempranillo blends.  Really great stuff if you like Spanish reds.  If you get a chance, stop and visit with the owners and have a glass of their sangria.  Really nice people.

  15. Pretty much everything I've from these guys is spot on.

Has a very tart cherry taste to the wine.

Also was able to bag a case of Caymus that was mispriced at Spec's the other day for the princely sum of $79 total.  Guess the cashier didn't realize the mistake.

Very nice.  Was it a separate inspection for the pool, or a home inspector, that did the pool as well.  Hydraulics on those are tricky

They were done separate from each other.  Both inspectors missed it.  Not sure how, but neither of them saw the issue.  I figured out something was wrong because the edge pumps were flooding the backyard below the pool.   Fortunately, the home is still under warranty and it covers the pool since it was the builder that put it in with the house.  They put up a bit of a fuss at first but a demand letter changed his tune on installing the rainwater collection.
