  1. I'm in northern Kentucky and not Texas unfortunately.
  2. Scored 2 OF birthday bourbons yesterday in a raffle. Myself and my wife both got drawn, damn good day.
  3. Where is secondary nowadays since all the Facebook and mewe stuff got shut down? Smaller groups?
  4. In Chattanooga Blantons flows like wine dude
  5. I haven't heard of many (any?) who like it, consensus for everyone I know is drain pour
  6. Picked up a Weller antique at the new jacked up Ohio rate today that's still not as high as everywhere else yet but it's heading there. Dammit
  7. Shit my bad, for some reason I thought new riff distributed to Texas. With bsm down I'm not sure.
  8. Who knows with how crazy bourbon is now. Two things I've enjoyed lately that aren't hard to get here (northern Kentucky) are 8 and sand and new riff rye single barrel. 8 & sand is a great daily drinker.
  9. Yep, gone for good. They have a new sourced version out now with a blend of something, like 4 and 14 year or something.
  10. Yep. In the last 5 years I've seen it on a shelf once for $99. I'm sure it will be more the next time i see it. I saw it on the shelf in nashville a few weeks ago for $199.99. First time I'd seen one on the shelf before, I clearly passed though.
  11. So jealous of you Texas guys getting all the Weller 12 shipments. I've resigned myself to the fact that I won't have a bottle of my own unless I crack and pay ridiculous secondary pricing.
  12. Hot as balls but lots of cool stuff in the Vista and down Devine street. You looking for food? Drinks? Don't know if you need multiple days in just Cola but you could always shoot down to Charleston or up to Greenville for a day trip.
  13. Really wish this was a more common theme in bourbon. That and not snapping the crotch shot in the parking lot of the liquor store flipping the bottle.
  14. So how can they sell straight from the barrel at Canon? Apparently Washington laws are a bit different.
  15. Well I'll be damned, complete opposite of here. Yes to the amount of good bourbon on the shelf at all times here though.
  16. You are probably thinking of 1910. 1920 is on every shelf everywhere in ky at least.
  17. Best mint julep ever made right there if not trolling lol
  18. That's under retail, I have 2 that I bought from party source for 220 after tax. Deps pick was around 210 after tax I believe and ggg around 220. I haven't opened either yet though
  19. From everything I've heard expect this to be freely available on shelves, I don't think there will be a shortage unless people start hoarding like crazy as soon as it hits.
  20. Nope, hits KY, Texas, and one or 2 more states next week or the following. Only available at the gift shop now.
  21. I think "eight and sand" is a blend they do, it's decent
